It's time for the third and final card from my Fragrant Layers Card Class @ Home (CC@H), and we're finishing the class with some bright, sunny flowers! All three cards feature the Fragrant Layers Bundle from Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives, but I've used the bundle in different ways and changed the color combinations to give each design its own look. This cheerful yellow version may be the brightest of the three! Remember that the Fragrant Layers Bundle was recently added to the Last Chance List, so it's now only available while supplies last.

For this card, the Fragrant Layers Bundle creates that gorgeous arrangement of Darling Duckling (yellow) flowers and Old Olive (green) leaves in the center. I love how the flowers range from pale yellow to a deeper, brighter yellow, giving the arrangement some beautiful variation instead of making every blossom exactly the same. I did this by die-cutting them out with Basic White Cardstock and then brushing ink on them with Blending Brushes. The detailed lines in the petals add even more interest. The leaves peek out from behind the flowers on both sides and help frame the arrangement. I placed everything over a Basic White layer, with Petal Pink ink brushed on it, and attach it to an Old Olive Cardstock mat. Then, the simple "Hello" banner stretches across the flowers without covering up too much of the design.
The Lovely & Beautiful Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) adds even more color to the background. I used a large piece along the left side that includes soft, watercolor-looking flowers along with beautiful gold foil accents. I love how those golden details work with the sunny yellow flowers in the focal point. On the base layer, I used a Basic White cardstock embossed with the beautiful Lazy Daisy 3D Embossing Folder. This gives the background another layer of texture while keeping the right side quiet enough to let the DSP and the large flower arrangement shine.
The Pearlized Faceted Circles are the perfect finishing touch on this bright card. I scattered several of the Calypso Coral faceted circles around the floral focal point, where they add little pops of color and shine. They're small details, but they help tie the coral shades in the Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP into the center of the card. Your CC@H card kits include enough of these featured embellishments to make the cards. The inside of Card 3 carries one of those cheerful yellow flowers inside. I stamped a yellow flower in the lower left corner of the Basic White layer and surrounded it with a few green leaves. It's a simple detail, but it coordinates perfectly with the large yellow arrangement on the front. The rest of the white layer is left open, so there's plenty of room to write a note. Since the greeting on the front simply says "Hello," this card can work for so many occasions.
