New Clearance Rack

I just wanted to let you all know that Stampin' Up! has now put a Clearance Rack section on the online store! It contains retired items that Stampin' Up! still has on hand. They've decided to deplete their surplus of retired items by selling them to you at discounted prices. Some are discounted substantially! The only way you can order anything from the clearance rack is to order through the online store.

I just went to see what was on the rack, and there are a lot of great things on it...chipboard letters, felt snowflakes, designer paper, rub-ons, and more! You need to check it out! All of the items are only available while supplies last. Once they're gone, they're gone forever. Also, all sales are final. No returns or exchanges will be accepted, except in the case of defective product.

The link below will take you to my demonstrator website. Once there, click "Shop Now" in the upper right corner of the site, and that will take you to the online store. Then click on "Clearance Rack."

Sweet Centers

I finally got to play with my Sweet Centers set and Sweet Treat Cups. I really had a lot of fun making this. It's going to be one of the Halloween projects being made at my Fall/Halloween Stamp Camp on Saturday, October 10. To find out more about this camp, please CLICK HERE.

I learned a new way to use the treat cups so you don't have to tear up the card to get to the candy. The little green tab on the right of the image is a piece of card stock that slides out, and reveals an opening for the candy to come out. I learned this technique from Becky Roberts.

Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack this Saturday!

This coming Saturday is World Card Making Day. I'm celebrating by having a Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack! This is going to be one of the cards made Saturday. I got this idea from a card I saw a couple weeks ago at the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Cincinnati that used the Dasher stamp. I used the level one hostess set that is in the current Holiday Mini, Patterned Pines. I really like this set and card. This card only uses one ink pad, and doesn't take long to make at all! This one could be easily mass produced.

I will be posting pictures of the other cards that will be made in a couple of days. To find out more about my Stamp-A-Stack CLICK HERE.

Technique Stamp Club September Page Project

This month, my Stampin' Technique Club is learning the Stained Glass Technique. For those that choose to make the scrapbook page, this will be the one they make. Everyone in the club gets to make their technique flip card for their binder ring (directions are printed on it, along with an image of the technique they make themselves), and the choice of a card or scrapbook page.

There's only one more month of this club, and I'll be beginning another one in November. If you're interested, come back periodically, because I'll have all of the details of the club coming soon!

Cincinnati Stampin' Up! Regionals was Great!

Good Monday to you all! Yes, I'm still alive! I can't believe I haven't posted since Sept. 1! I've just been so busy trying to get our new house together. There's still a lot to do, but it's getting there.

I got to go with 4 of my demonstrator buddies to the Stampin' Up! Regionals in Cincinnati last Saturday. It was so much fun, and I really learned a lot. I always come back motivated whenever I attend Regionals. There wasn't one close to Indy last year, so it was good to go to one this year. Shelli was able to attend this time. The last 3 I've gone to, she wasn't able to attend. 2 of my friends had never seen her in person, and they both got their pictures taken with her. I made the mistake of going over to wait for some projects that were just demoed to be displayed and get pictures of them. Doing so, I missed seeing that the line for Shelli was short. Mandy and Kendra did notice, though, so they were the lucky ones in our group to meet her face to face. She's such a sweet and kind lady,

Below, you'll see one of the cards I made to swap with at Regionals. There is always swapping at a Stampin' Up! event! I made 3 different cards, 20 of each. I gave one of each to Stampin' Up! and swapped the others and came home with 57 great card ideas. This card seemed to be the favorite of my 3. It was the first one to disappear. I've already posted one of my cards before, and you can find it HERE. I'll post the third card tomorrow.

I know it's hard to believe, but it's time for the annual Holiday Mini Catalog! This may be called a "mini" catalog, but it's very hard to call it that! It's the biggest mini yet! There are more stamp sets, designer paper, and accessories than ever before. There are also some wonderful new product lines that are coming out in this mini. They are:
