You can see the supply list at the bottom of this post, though. If you're reading this post in an email, you probably can't see the supply list. You'll need to go to the actual blog post to see it.

Peaceful Lake - Waterfront

Ok, I'm in LOVE with this stamp set! This is the first card I've made with it so far, but I know I'll be making many more! It's so much fun to play with! I see a beach scene for my next card made with it.

I also used the wonderful masculine True Gentleman Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog. I really like the color combo in this paper set. I also used the True Gentleman Buttons and Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon. All three of these items are included in the True Gentleman Suite. The corduroy ribbon is great! I love the corduroy look, and it's so soft!

Dimensions:
  • Night of Navy:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" (image mat)
  • Crumb Cake:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer)
  • Very Vanilla:  3" x 4-1/4"
  • True Gentleman Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 2"
  • Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon"  6"
  • Linen Thread:  6"
  • True Gentleman Buttons:  1 large button
Instructions:
  1. Fold the Night of Navy card base piece, from the True Gentleman Cardstock Pack in half (fold on the left). Attach the True Gentleman DSP piece across the bottom of the Crumb Cake piece from the True Gentleman Cardstock Pack. Wrap the Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon around the top edge of the DSP, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the Crumb Cake piece. Attach the whole thing to the Night of Navy card base.
  2. Stamp the long, narrow strip stamp from the Waterfront Stamp Set across the middle of the Very Vanilla piece using the Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the wide, squiggly brushstroke stamp along the bottom edge of the Garden Green image using the Soft Sky Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the double-line brushstroke stamp over the top of the Soft Sky image using the Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the mountain-like stamp along the top edge of the Garden Green image using the Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the circle stamp onto the top, left of the mountains using the Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "Friends make the..." stamp onto the bottom, left corner of the Very Vanilla piece using the Night of Navy ink pad.
  3. Ink the branch sections of the tree trio stamp with the Tranquil Tide marker from the Chocolate Chip & Tranquil Tide Stampin' Write Markers. Ink up the trunks of the trees with the other marker in the set, Chocolate Chip. Stamp the trees onto the right side of the Garden Green strip. Attach the piece to the center of the Night of Navy image mat piece. Then, attach it to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Thread the Linen Thread piece through the holes in a large button from the True Gentleman Buttons, forming an "x" shape, and tie it on with a double-knot. Attach it to the bottom right corner of the Very Vanilla piece using a Mini Glue Dot.
When attaching pieces, use SNAIL Adhesive, unless stated otherwise.

Short & Sweet Saturday - Picture Perfect Birthday

I can't believe how fast this past week has gone! I had two events this week, and that made me too busy to post. I promise to post more this coming week.

I was able to make this week's Short & Sweet Saturday's card, and here it is. This is the first card I've made with the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set from the Occasions Catalog. This set makes great birthday cards!

Dimensions:
  • Lemon Lime Twist:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Pool Party:  4" x 1-3/4" (embossed layer)
  • Whisper White:  2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (circle)
  • Picture Perfect Party Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 4"
  • Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon:  6" & 4"
Instructions:
  1. Fold the Lemon Lime Twist piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the Picture Perfect Party DSP piece onto the top of the card base. It should have the same width of Lemon Lime Twist border around the top and side edges of the piece.
  2. Emboss the Pool Party piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Scattered Sequins Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF). The sandwich used for Dynamic TIEFs is:  (starting from the bottom) Big Shot Platform, cardstock inside folder, and Standard Cutting Pad.
  3. Wrap the 6" piece of Berry Burst ribbon around the top of the Pool Party piece, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the piece. Attach the piece to the bottom of the card base, making sure it has the same width of Lemon Lime Twist border around the bottom and side edges of the piece. Tie the 4" piece of ribbon onto the left side of the attached ribbon, using a single-knot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.
  4. Die-cut a circle out of the Whisper White piece using the second, largest circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Stamp the solid candle stamp from the Picture Perfect Birthday Stamp Set onto the bottom, center of the circle using the Berry Burst Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the same candle stamp onto the right side of the first candle using the Lemon Lime Twist Classic Stampin' Pad, and again onto the left side of the first candle using the Pool Party Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the flame stamp onto the top of each candle using the Peekaboo Peach Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "Celebrate the Good Stuff" stamp over the candles using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Attach the circle to the right side of card, over the ribbon, using Stampin' Dimensionals.
When attaching pieces, use SNAIL Adhesive, unless stated otherwise.

The Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop - Valentine's!

Welcome to the Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop for January 2018. This month our theme is Valentines!  You may just be starting the blog hop here at my blog – Christy Fulk @ Create With Christy, or you may have come from the person previous to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

I just got the Panda Party Sale-A-Bration set, and I had to use it to make my Valentine's Day card. Isn't he just adorable holding that envelope? Until March 31, you can get this stamp set free with a $50 order (before shipping & tax). I paired it with the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set, because I wanted the hearts in that set on the card. The designer paper I used is the Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper also from the Occasions Catalog. It's hard to tell in the pictures, but some of the hearts in the paper are gold metallic.

Dimensions:
  • Powder Pink:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Melon Mambo:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
  • Calypso Coral:  2-3/4" x 2-3/4" (scallop circle)
  • Whisper White:  3" x 4" (circle & hearts)
  • Painted With Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP):  (2) 1-1/2" x 4"
  • Love Mini Tinsel Trim Combo Pack:  (2) 6" and (1) 4" (gold tinsel)
Instructions:
  1. Emboss the Melon Mambo piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Simple Stripes Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Lay the piece down so the raised stripes are facing down. Attach the DSP pieces to the center, top of the card (see picture for placement).
  2. Wrap the first 6" piece of gold tinsel around the bottom of the DSP, wrapping it at an angle. Attach the tinsel ends to the back of the Melon Mambo piece using Scotch Tape. Wrap the other 6" piece around the piece at an angle (opposite of the first), and tape the ends to the back of the Melon Mambo piece, too. Have the tinsel intersect on the left side of the card. Tie the small gold tinsel piece onto the attached pieces, over the intersection part, using a single-knot. Trim the ends.
  3. Fold the Powder Pink piece in half to form the card base (fold on left). Attach the Melon Mambo embossed piece to the card.
  4. Stamp the panda w/ envelope stamp from the Party Pandas Stamp Set onto one end of the Whisper White piece using the Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "love you" stamp next to the right side of the panda's head using the Rich Razzleberry Classic Stampin' Pad. Die-cut the panda/greeting out with the #5 circle die (smallest being #1) from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Die-cut a scallop circle out of the Calypso Coral piece using the #6 scallop die. Attach the panda circle to the center of the scallop circle, and then attach it to the card (see picture for placement).
  5. Stamp the "always" heart stamp from the Sure Do Love You Stamp Set onto the same Whisper White piece using the Powder Pink Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "Be Mine" heart stamp onto it using the Rich Razzleberry ink pad, and stamp the "I'm Yours" heart stamp onto it using the Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pad. Die-cut the hearts out with their coordinating dies from the Lots of Love Box Framelits. Attach first two hearts to the card with SNAIL Adhesive, and attach the Melon Mambo heart to the card using a Stampin' Dimensional (see picture for placement).
Attach everything with SNAIL Adhesive, unless stated otherwise.

Short & Sweet Saturday - Beautiful Peacock Narrow Note Card

It's Saturday, and that means Short & Sweet Saturday (S&SS) time. I need to apologize, once again, for not doing a S&SS card last week. This being sick since Christmas Eve has really gotten me behind. I'm pretty much back to normal, except for a little sinus drainage that won't go away, so I think I'm close to being back on track.

I used the Beautiful Peacock Sale-A-Bration Stamp Set again, but this time used the cute Narrow Note Cards & Envelopes from the Occasions Catalog with it. Remember, you can get the Beautiful Peacock set FREE with a $50 order (before shipping & tax) until March 31, 2018.

This is the first card I've made with these narrow note cards, and I really like how it turned out. This size is too small to mail, but you can put it inside of a regular envelope if you do want to mail it. It's also works great to attach to a gift. How do you like the lining in the envelope? Brian King, a fellow SU! Demonstrator, figured out that you can punch a circle out of Designer Series Paper using the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Attach it to the flap, and the top of the inside of the envelope. Then, fold the flap down to put the crease in the DSP. Genius!

Dimensions:
  • Narrow Note Card & Envelopes - 1
  • Whisper White:  2-3/4" x 2-3/4"
  • Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP):  1-1/2" x 2-1/2" (card) & scraps (envelope liner)
  • Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape:  2-1/2" strip (Daffodil Delight tape)
Instructions:
  1. Attach the DSP strip onto the left side of the Narrow Note Card. Attach the Basics Pack 2 Washi Tape along the right edge of the DSP. Stamp the "Beautiful Friend" stamp from the Beautiful Peacock Stamp Set onto the bottom, right corner of the card using the Marina Mist Classic Stampin Pad.
  2. With the note card folded, stamp the long swirl stamp onto the right side of the note card two times using the Old Olive Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the second, largest flower stamp around the swirls using the Calypso Coral Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the smallest flower stamp around the swirls, too, using the Daffodil Delight Classic Stampin' Pad (see picture for placement).
  3. Stamp the scallop-like peacock feathers stamp onto the center of the Whisper White piece using the Old Olive ink pad. Stamp the peacock stamp into the opening of the feathers using the Marina Mist ink pad. Die-cut the peacock out with the second, largest square die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Attach the square to the left side of the note card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Punch a circle out of the scraps of DSP using the 2-1/4" Circle Punch. Attach the circle to the inside of the envelope by centering the top edges of the circle inside the edges of the envelope flap. Fold the flap down to put the crease into the DSP circle.
Attach everything using SNAIL Adhesive, unless stated otherwise.

Learn Stampin' Techniques - Last Day to Sign-Up is Sunday!

I wanted to remind all of you that this Sunday is the last day to sign-up for one of my Mini-Technique Stamp Clubs. There is no limit on how many clubs there are, but I do need three to start each one. Here's the information again, in case you missed it.

I'm starting something new this year for Sale-A-Bration. I do year-long technique clubs for my local people, and I want to offer 3-month technique clubs during Sale-A-Bration to EVERYONE in the USA.

A club is when you place a minimum-sized order every month (3 months in these mini-clubs), and one of the months you're the host. Hosts receive all of the Stampin' Rewards for the month. I'm offering two different mini technique clubs. If you're wanting to join one of them, I'll need to know by Sunday, January 21 with the first order being due on Thursday, January 25.

I need 3 signed-up for each club. Once I have 3 for a group, I'll send out an email with the Host Code you'll need to place your order for January, along with the month each person is host. There will be a new host code every month. I'll also share a video, exclusive to club-members only, showing how to do the technique. I'll also email the written instructions for the technique, for quick reference.

Here are the details for both clubs:
  • Host month determined by order received. First to sign-up gets January, second gets February, and 3rd gets March.
  • Need 3 members per club.
  • Learn a new Stampin' Technique each month.
  • Exclusive club-member only video each month teaching that month's technique.
  • Written instructions emailed to you for quick reference.
  • Orders are placed at my online store using the Host Code I'll provide each month
  • The month you're the host, you DON'T place your order online. You'll need to email it to me, along with your Stampin' Rewards order. I'll place the order, and have it shipped directly to you.
  • In January, the host code will be emailed to the club as soon as it's full. The codes will be emailed the first of February and March after that.
  • The month you're the host, you can have friends and family place orders using your month's host code. This will give you a higher workshop total, and MORE STAMPIN' REWARDS!
  • If you place a larger order your host month, it will raise your Stampin' Rewards total, too.
  • Club orders need to be placed by the fourth Thursday of the month by midnight (ET).
    • 1st month:   Thursday, January 25, 2018
    • 2nd month:  Thursday, February 22, 2018
    • 3rd month:   Thursday, March 22, 2018

Here are the two clubs you can choose from.

The Best Deal Club:
  • Minimum Order of $100 (before shipping & tax) each month...January, February, & March (due dates above).
  • With a $100 minimum order, you'll have the option of choosing either:
    • One Level 2 Sale-A-Bration item FREE OR
    • Two Level 1 Sale-A-Bration items FREE.
  • The month you're the host, you'll receive at least $61 in Stampin' Rewards.
    • That's an additional $25 in rewards, because the workshop total will be over the $250 mark. This is another Sale-A-Bration benefit!
    • Getting friends and family to order during your host month will get you even more Stampin' Rewards!
The Budget Club:
  • Minimum Order of $50 (before shipping & tax) each month...January, February, & March (due dates above).
  • With a $50 minimum order, you can choose One Level 1 Sale-A-Bration item FREE.
  • The month you're the host, you'll receive at least $15 in Stampin' Rewards.
    • Getting friends and family to order during your host month will get you even more Stampin' Rewards.
To Join:
  • Email me at christyfulk@att.net by Sunday, January 21, 2018
  • Let me know which club you want to join (Best Deal Club or Budget Club)
  • I'll email you to let you know I received your email.
  • I'll then email you once I get two more people signed up with all of the information you'll need.
  • I'll continue to form clubs until January 21, 2018.
  • I will email technique instructions and video link once the club order is finalized.

The January technique that will be taught is called Stampin' Blends Embossing technique. Don't you  love how those roses just pop off of the black cardstock? It's actually so much prettier in person. It's so shiny and elegant looking!

Of course, I'm not including the instructions for this card, since that is exclusive to club members. I am including the supply list, though, and you can find that below. If you're reading this post in an email, the supply list won't show. You'll need to go to the blog post to see it.
