Tomorrow is Last Day to Redeem Coupons AND Get the Chicken Wire Elements FREE from Me (limited # available)

I'm sorry, but I don't have a Short & Sweet Saturday card for you today. Our internet is acting up, so everything I did this week took so much longer than it should have. AT&T was supposed to be here yesterday to upgrade our U-Verse equipment (don't have TV, either) and our internet, but they canceled at the last minute. Now, they can't be here until Wednesday! Not a happy camper, for sure! Hopefully, I'll be able to catch up on making projects until then, and then post a lot of new projects AND videos once our internet is faster.

Today is also our youngest's 23rd birthday! I can't believe it our baby boy is 23! I need to get the house cleaned up before my parents get here to celebrate, but I wanted take a few minutes to remind you...

Tomorrow (September 30) is the LAST DAY to redeem the Bonus Days Coupons You Earned Last Month! Don't Miss Out on Saving Your $5!

Tomorrow, is Also the Last Day to Place a Qualifying Order to Get the Chicken Wire Elements FREE From Me, Too!

Fall Theme Week - Falling for Leaves

Today ends my Fall Theme Week. Today, my card features the Falling for Leaves Bundle. The bundle includes the Falling for Leaves and Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies. They can be purchased separately, but if you purchase them as a bundle, it'll save you 10%! That beautiful border die-cut along the bottom of the Designer Series Paper (DSP) was made with one of the dies in the Detailed Leaves Thinlits. It's gorgeous!

The beautiful DSP I used is called Country Lane, and it's in the Stampin' Up!® Holiday Catalog. I have found that I love Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron together, and these are the only colors I used on this card. I colored the leaf in with Blackberry Bliss and Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. The white oval has been embossed with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The ribbon is from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. The combo includes this Mint Macaron/Copper ribbon, along with a Very Vanilla/Copper ribbon.

Dimensions:
  • Mint Macaron:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base), 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" (scallop oval), and 4" x 1" (lace border)
  • Whisper White:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer), 3" x 3" (leaf), and 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" (oval)
  • Country Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 4"
  • Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack:  6" and 4" (Mint Macaron ribbon)

Instructions:
  1. Stamp the "Thankful" stamp from the Falling for Leaves Stamp Set onto the bottom, right corner of the Whisper White base layer piece using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Die-cut the Mint Macaron lace border piece by running it through the Big Shot with the lace border die from the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies. Attach the top of the border along the back, bottom of the DSP piece. Attach the DSP piece to the top of the Whisper White base layer piece.
  2. Wrap the longest ribbon piece across the lower part of the DSP, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the base layer (see picture). Fold the Mint Macaron card base piece in half (fold on the left). Attach the Whisper White base layer to the center of the card front.
  3. Stamp the largest leaf stamp onto the center of the Whisper White square leaf piece using the Memento Pad. Color the main center section of the flower with the Light Mint Macaron marker from the Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. Color the scallop border around it with the Dark Mint Macaron marker in the same set. Color the small designs in the center of the leaf and the corner sections of the leaf with the Dark Blackberry Bliss marker from the Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Blends Markers. Color the rest of the leaf border with the Light Blackberry Bliss marker from the same set. Die-cut the leaf with the large leaf framelit die.
  4. Die-cut an oval out of the last Whisper White piece using the second, largest oval die in the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. Emboss the oval by running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Die-cut a scallop oval out of the last Mint Macaron piece using the largest scallop oval die. Attach the oval to the center of the scallop oval, and then attach it to the left side of the card (see picture). Attach the leaf to the oval using Stampin' Dimensionals. Tie the short ribbon piece to the right side of the attached ribbon using a single knot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.

Short & Sweet Saturday - Fall Theme Week

It's Short & Sweet Saturday time! This week's card goes along with my Fall Theme Week. I used another stamp set I love from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog, Wishing You Well. Who am I kidding, I love SO MANY stamp sets from the Holiday Catalog! 😉 I once again used the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I hope you like this embossing folder, because you're going to be seeing me use it many, MANY, more times!

Wishing You Well Stamp Set
I also love the Metallic Pearls from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. I thought the gold pearls looked perfect on the brown color scheme of the card. It makes the card look so special!

Dimensions:
  • Early Espresso:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base) & 2-3/4" x 3-1/2" (image mat)
  • Crumb Cake:  5-1/4" x 4" (embossed layer)
  • Very Vanilla:  2-1/2" x 3-1/4" (main image)
  • Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (DSP):  5-1/4" x 2"
  • 3/16" Braided Linen Trim:  7" & 4"
Instructions:
  1. Emboss the Crumb Cake piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Attach the DSP piece across the bottom part of the embossed piece. (see picture). Wrap the longest linen trim piece around the lower half of the DSP piece, and attach the trim ends to the back of the embossed piece. Fold the largest Early Espresso piece in half (fold on top) to form the card base. Attach the embossed piece to the center of the card front.
  2. Stamp the bouquet-type stamp from the Wishing You Well Stamp Set onto the middle of the Very Vanilla piece using the Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "wishing you well" stamp across the bottom of the piece using the Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach the piece to the center of the smallest Early Espresso piece. Attach it to the left side of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. Put gold pearls from the Metallic Pearls randomly onto the "bouquet" (see picture).
  3. Tie the smallest linen trim piece onto the right side of the attached linen trim using a single knot. Trim the ends at an angle.
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.

Fall Theme Week - Winter Woods

I'm continuing with my Fall Theme Week today. The card features the Winter Woods Stamp Set in the Stampin' Up!® Holiday Catalog. Yes, this stamp set can be used for other than Christmas/Winter. You can also bundle it with its coordinating dies set, In the Woods Framelits, and save 10%. I didn't use the dies on this card, as you can see.

After inking the trees stamp with Soft Suede ink, I "thumped" all over the trees with Blackberry Bliss & Cajun Craze markers (using the brush tip end) from the Regals Collection Stampin' Blends to make them look like Fall trees. I paired it with the Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog. This stamp set coordinates perfectly with the Rooted In Nature Bundle and Lovely As a Tree Stamp Set in the Annual Catalog.

Dimensions:

  • Blackberry Bliss:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base)
  • Sahara Sand:  5-1/4" x 4" (embossed layer)
  • Tranquil Tide:  4" x 3" (tree mat)
  • Mint Macaron:  3-1/2" x 3/4" (greeting)
  • Whisper White:  3-3/4" x 2-3/4" (tree layer)
  • Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper (DSP):  2" x 4"
  • Galvanized Buttons:  1 buttton
  • 3/16" Braided Linen Trim:  3"
  • Tranquil Tide 1/4" Velvet Ribbon:  7"

Instructions:

  1. Emboss the Sahara Sand piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Corrugated Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Attach the DSP piece across the right side of the embossed piece (see picture).
  2. Ink the tree row stamp from the Winter Woods Stamp Set with a Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad. Thump the side of the brush-tip of the Cajun Craze marker from the Regals Collection Stampin' Write Markers randomly over the tree branches. Then do the same with the Blackberry Bliss marker. Stamp the trees onto the center of the Whisper White piece. Sponge across the bottom of the tree piece using a Sponge Dauber and ink from the Sahara Sand Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach the piece to the center of the Tranquil Tide piece. Attach the piece to the center of the embossed piece.
  3. Wrap the velvet ribbon around the bottom of the embossed piece, and over the bottom of the tree piece, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the embossed layer. Fold the Blackberry Bliss piece in half (fold on the top) to form the card base. Attach the embossed piece to the center of the card front.
  4. Trim the right end of the Mint Macaron piece at an angle. Stamp the "sending you our thoughts..." stamp from the Wishing You Well Stamp Set onto the right end of the piece using the Soft Suede ink pad. Thread the linen thread through the holes in the Galvanized Button, and tie it onto the button using a single knot. Trim the ends, and separate the braided ends until they are loose strands. Attach the button to the left end of the greeting strip using a Mini Glue Dot. Attach the greeting strip to the bottom, left side of the card, over the velvet ribbon using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Attach a silver leaf trio embellishment from the Leaves Trinkets onto the top right corner of the tree layer using a couple Mini Glue Dots.

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.

12 Week of Fall & Halloween 2018 - Week #6

It's time for another 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween project, and it goes along with my Fall Theme Week. This week's project is a little treat bag project. You can fit quite a bit of candy in this little bag. Of course, a little gift fits, too.

The bag I used is a Santa's Bag from the Stampin' Up!® Holiday catalog. I also used the Falling For Leaves Bundle, which includes the Falling For Leaves Stamp Set and the Detailed Leaves Thinlits Dies. Take a close look at that doily! It's a little hard to tell in the pictures, but it's a shiny copper doily. I know we don't sell copper doilies, but we do sell Pearlized Doilies. I turned one of these doilies into a copper one. It's super easy, and I'll show you how to do it in the video below. I'll also teach you how to stamp on the fabric Santa's Bags, and teach you an easy way to use Stampin' Up!'s Metallic Thread.

I learned the easier way to use this thread on the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Planning Place Facebook Group. This is an exclusive group Stampin' Up! started for all of its demonstrators. It's where all of us demonstrators can give each other ideas and tips. That's one of the great things about being a Stampin' Up! demo...all the support we give each other! I wish I could find the post again, because I'd love to give this demonstrator her credit, but I can't find it. If someone knows, please let me know so I can give her credit. 😊

The supply list for this project is at the bottom of this post. If you click on any of the product pictures, it'll take you to that item at my Online Store.
