Double Easel Card Tutorial – 2 Variations (Replay Available!)

The Double Easel Card is one of those “wow” designs that looks impressive but is surprisingly easy to make. With just a few score lines and layers, you can create a card that really stands out.

The card above is the first one I made in the Live a couple weeks ago, and it's a basic double easel card. I know is doesn't look "basic" with that cute Halloween scene and all those die-cuts that are from the Spooky Sweet Designer Series Paper (DSP). This DSP pack is so much fun!

The DSP is the showstopper for this card, but I also used the Spooky Halloween Bundle that coordinates with it. The "Happy Halloween" comes from the stamp set in the bundle, and the black fence was made with a die in the bundle's die-set. I then finished the card off with the coordinating Shimmer Star Foam Stickers. They come in three colors, and each color comes in three sizes. I used one of each size of the purple stars.

The DSP, bundle, and embellishments are part of the Spooky Sweet Suite in the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives.

Here's the back, inside layer for adding a note to someone. I stamped the bats stamp in the bundle across the top of the Basic White layer a few times using Tuxedo Black Memento ink.

My second card in the video is a variation of the double easel card. It has a window! Isn't it wonderful? I made a circle glittery frame on the top layer of easel using the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Specialty Paper. It's the perfect frame for the circle window I made with the largest circle die in the Stylish Shapes Dies.

This easel card features the Peace on Earth Bundle, Peaceful Garden DSP, & Hues of Blue Flowers. All of these products(& the glimmer paper mentioned above) are part of the Peaceful Garden Suite in the Stampin' Up! September-December 2025 Mini Catalog.

Here's the back, inside layer for this card. You can see the "Peace on Earth" through the window of the card, but you can see the strip of DSP I added across the bottom of the Basic White layer.
