RemARKably Creative Blog Hop: Colorful Seasons

Welcome to another RemARKably Creative Blog Hop. This month, we're featuring projects made with the products included in the Colorful Seasons Promotion. This promotion includes the Blended Seasons Bundle, and I've used it on my card.

This bundle can be used on so many wonderful projects! It includes images that work with Fall & Christmas projects, along with images that can be used all year long! I love versatile sets like this...especially when they coordinate with a die set! The stamp set also includes some wonderful greeting stamps...everything you need! You can see the stamp set in the blog hop picture at the top of this post, along with the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies. You can purchase the stamp set and dies separately or as a bundle. If you want both, you definitely want the bundle, because it saves you 10%! You need to hurry, though! These products are only available until August 31, 2018 or while supplies last...whichever comes first. Then, they'll be GONE FOREVER!

I decided to go with a card that can be used any time of the year. I used the beautiful floral image in the set, and fussy cut it out. I also used some of the new Stampin' Blends from the Annual Catalog. You can get the full supply list below the blog hop list.

Dimensions:
  • Highland Heather:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Mint Macaron:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
  • Whisper White:  3-1/4" x 4-1/2" (flowers) & 3-1/2" x 2-1/2" (greeting)
  • Nature's Poem Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 2"
  • Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon:  6" (strip) & 9" (bow)
Instructions:
  1. Emboss the Mint Macaron piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Tufted Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, using the following sandwich: (beginning from the bottom) Big Shot Platform, folder with cardstock inside, & Standard Cutting Pad. Attach the DSP piece across the bottom of the embossed piece. Wrap the 6" piece of the tulle ribbon across the top of the DSP layer, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the embossed piece.  Fold the Highland Heather piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the embossed piece to the center of the card front.
  2. Die-cut a label from the Whisper White greeting piece using the smallest label/frame die in the Stitched Seasons Framelits Dies. Stamp the "I Just Miss You" stamp from the Blended Seasons Stamp Set onto the right side of the label using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Attach the label to the right side of the card, about a 1/2" above the ribbon.
  3. Stamp the large floral stamp onto the last Whisper White piece using the Memento Pad. Color the inner parts and lines in the flower petals with the dark marker and the rest of the petals with the light marker (coloring over the dark areas to blend), from the Highland Heather Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. Color the lines inside the leaves with the dark marker and the rest of the leaves with the light marker (coloring over the dark areas to blend) from the Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends Combo Pack. Color the flower centers in with the Light Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends Marker. Fussy the image out with Paper Snips. Attach it over the left side of the label using Stampin' Dimensionals (see picture for placement). Tie the 9" piece of tulle ribbon into a bow, and attach it to the right side of the attached ribbon using a Mini Glue Dot. Trim the ribbon ends at an angle.

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.

If you have trouble opening the tutorial, you may need to update your pdf reader.

I hope you enjoyed my card. Now it's time to enjoy everyone else's! You're at Christy Fulk - Create With Christy - USA in the list. You can either go to the name after mine, or go through the hop the other way, and go to the one before mine.

Note:  I've got an additional special for those that order the Blended Seasons Bundle from me, and an added bonus if they add the Watercolor Pencils - Assortment 2! CLICK HERE to find out more! I did my first Facebook Live Video a few days ago, and it shows the projects in my special, along with me demoing another card using the bundle. Short & Sweet Saturday - Wishing You Well - Holiday Catalog Sneak Peek

I finally have a Short & Sweet Saturday card for you. I've been dying to make something with something from my Holiday Catalog Preorder, and I finally got to! I LOVE being a demo! I get to get new products EARLY! 😃

What about that tin tile layer? Isn't it beautiful? I used the new Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I could tell I would love it from the pictures and videos I've seen, but I love it even more in person! The stamp set I used is also from the Holiday Catalog called Wishing You Well. This stamp set can make beautiful Christmas wreaths, but I wanted to show how it can be used on non-Christmas cards, too. This stamp set is part of the DistINKtive Line of stamp sets. If you look at the close-up picture below, you can see all of the detail in the images. I only stamped the wreath and the bow one time each!

Dimensions:
  • Soft Sea Foam:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 4" x 1" (strip)
  • Petal Pink:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer)
  • Whisper White:  4-1/4" x 2-3/4" (wreath & bow)
  • Champagne Foil Sheets:  3" x 4" (tin tile layer)
  • Metallic Ribbon Combo:  6" (Petal Pink)

Instructions:
  1. Stamp the flower group stamp from the Wishing You Well Stamp Set onto both sides of the top two-thirds of the Petal Pink piece using the Petal Pink Classic Stampin' Pad. Emboss the Champagne Foil Sheet piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Use the following sandwich:  (starting from the bottom) Big Shot Platform, folder with cardstock inside, and a Standard Cutting Mat. Attach the piece to the top, center of the Petal Pink piece.
  2. Stamp the "sending you..." stamp onto the bottom, right corner of the Petal Pink piece using the Gray Granite Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach the Soft Sea Foam strip piece across the bottom of the tin tile piece. Wrap the Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon piece around the middle of the strip, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the Petal Pink piece. Fold the largest Soft Sea Foam piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the Petal Pink piece to the center of the card front.
  3. Stamp the wreath stamp onto one end of the Whisper White piece using the Soft Sea Foam Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the bow stamp onto the other end of the piece using the Petal Pink ink pad. Die-cut the wreath out with the second, largest circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Fussy cut the bow out with Paper Snips. Attach the bow to the top, center of the wreath, and then attach the wreath to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (see picture for placement).

Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.

If you have trouble opening the tutorial, you may need to update your pdf reader. Note:  The Wishing You Well Stamp Set and Tin Tile embossing folder are not available yet, and can't be put on the supply list, until September 5, 2018

If You Can't See the Supply List Below, You'll Need to Go to the Original Post. The Wishing You Well Stamp Set and Tin Tile Embossing Folder can't be added to the supply list until they're available on September 5, 2018.

Dear Friend - Very Vintage Host Set

Happy Monday, everyone! It's been quite a past few days! I've been trying to make a video for my VIP Stampers Group & my Christy's Friendly Stampers Team, and nothing would work right! I finally quit trying to get a new video program I purchased to work (after 10+ times of trying), and made it the way I've done them in the past. Even that acted up once. I made the card over 6 times! LoL

My plan is to start my 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween Projects this week! I know, it's hard to believe it's time for them again! I will have a video for each project this year, so make sure to come back later this week (hopefully Wednesday or Thursday) to see the first project and video.

In the meantime, I've got a vintage card to share with you. I made this using the host exclusive stamp set, Very Vintage. The only way you can get this beautiful stamp set is by either HOSTING A WORKSHOP, or by placing at least a $150 (before shipping & tax) order. If you click on the "Hosting a Workshop" link above, you can find out the different workshops I offer. You don't have to live close to me to have one, but you do need to live the USA (per Stampin' Up! guidelines). If you want to place an order, you can click the "Shop at my Online Store" picture below. If you place a $150 order, one of the things you'll receive is an email with three $5 coupons from Stampin' Up! that you can use in September! Make sure to check out all of the Stampin' Up! promotions and my August Giveaway at the bottom of this post before ordering.

I also used the beautiful Springtime Impressions Thinlits, Ruffled Embossing Folder, and the Detailed Trio Punch.

Dimensions:
  • Mossy Meadow:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" (mat)
  • Merry Merlot:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
  • Sahara Sand:  4-1/4" x 5-1/2" (floral die-cut) & 3 x 1" (greeting)
  • Very Vanilla:  3" x 4" (oval)
  • Copper Foil Sheets:  2-7/8" x 3-7/8" (mat)
  • True Gentleman Buttons:  1 small button
Instructions:
  1. Emboss the Merry Merlot piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, using the following sandwich: (starting from the bottom) Big Shot Platform, embossing folder with cardstock inside, and Standard Cutting Pad.
  2. Die-cut the large floral die from the Springtime Impressions Thinlits Dies out of the largest Sahara Sand piece. Put some glue onto the edges, and some of the inner parts, of the back of the piece with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen. Attach it to the bottom, left corner of the embossed layer. Fold the largest Mossy Meadow piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the embossed piece to the center of the card front.
  3. Ink the large floral stamp from the Very Vintage Stamp Set with the following markers:  Merry Merlot, Mossy Meadow, & Night of Navy markers from the Neutral Collection Stampin' Write Marker & the Crushed Curry marker from the Regals Collection Stampin' Write Markers (see picture for color placement). Huff onto it (breathe on it) to remoisten the ink, and then stamp it onto the middle of the Very Vanilla piece. Die-cut the flowers out with the largest oval die from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies. Using the stamp-off technique (ink stamp, stamp onto scrap piece of paper, and then onto the Very Vanilla oval), stamp the doily stamp all over the piece using the Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad. Sponge the edges of the oval with ink from the Crumb Cake ink pad.
  4. Punch the detail part of the Detailed Trio Punch into all four corners of the Mossy Meadow mat piece. Then, punch all of the corners with the rounded part of the same punch. Sponge the edges of the piece with the Crumb Cake ink pad. Punch all four corners of the Copper Foil Sheet piece using the rounded part of the same punch. Attach the Mossy Meadow piece to the center of the Copper Foil Sheet piece, and then attach the floral oval to the center of the Mossy Meadow piece. Attach the whole thing to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the "Dear Friend" stamp onto the right end of the smallest Sahara Sand piece using the Crumb Cake ink pad. Punch the greeting out with the Classic Label Punch, making sure the greeting is on the right end of the label. Attach the label to the bottom, right of the oval piece (see picture for placement). Attach a small button from the True Gentleman Buttons using a Mini Glue Dot.
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
