New Online Store Starting Soon!

It's time for the new online store AND the new August - December Mini Catalog!

YOU CAN NOW START ORDERING FROM THE NEW MINI CATALOG AND NEW ONLINE STORE!

Now that the Online Store is open, I'm making a video, right now, showing how the new online store works AND the new features you're going to love! I'll post it as soon as it's finished later today.

You don't have to wait until I post the video to place your order, however. The site is pretty easy to navigate through. You do need to know something about signing into your account before you do:

What to Know About Signing Into Your Account in the New Online Store:

  • Your account information and passwords still work with the new site.
  • Your browser will see the new Online Store as a new site, so it won't be able to fill in your password, if you saved it. The first time you sign-in, you'll need to enter your password manually. After that, you can have your browser save your password again for the new site.
  • If you’ve forgotten your password, you can click the “Forgot Password” link on the new online store’s sign-in page and follow the steps to reset  your password. The password reset email will come from noreply@info.stampinup.com. Adding this email address to your email's contacts list and/or searching for the email in your spam/junk folder, can help ensure you receive the email. Should you run into any problems, there is a link in the password reset window to a page with additional information.

Don't forget to redeem your coupons this month! You have until 11:50 p.m. (MT), August 31, 2020!
I'll be showing how to redeem your coupons in the online store in my video later today, too!

I'll be back later today with my New Online Store Video!

Mini Catalog Sneak Peek - Poinsettia Place Suite

These are the projects I made in my Facebook/YouTube Live video earlier today. If you missed it, you can watch the video below.

I showcased the beautiful Poinsettia Place Suite, along with the Little Treats Box Dies...all from the Stampin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalog. I actually used EVERYTHING in the Poinsettia Place Suite on these two projects! I have great news! You'll be able to start ordering from the new mini catalog beginning THIS Tuesday, August 4, 2020!

I got this layout from my upline Cheri Stojkovich. She challenged us to use one of her card templates, and this is what I came up with. This card showcases all of the colors in the color combo of the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (DSP)...Real Red, Old Olive, Garden Green, Bumblebee, & Soft Suede. I love how this card template shows off the DSP!

The Real Red 3/8" Sheer Ribbon is so pretty in person. The pictures don't do it justice!

How do you like that beautiful poinsettia flower center? They're called Beaded Pearls, and you get 18 of them! I think this flower center really finished the card off perfectly!

I love that there are dies that die cut the poinsettia and leaves, but I REALLY love that there are embossing dies that put the veins in the them, too!

The label was made using one of the dies in the Little Treat Box Dies. It worked perfectly with the greeting stamp from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set. This stamp set can be purchased with the Poinsettia Dies as a bundle. Purchasing the Poinsettia Petals Bundle, instead of purchasing them individually, saves you 10%

Dimensions:
  • Real Red Cardstock (CS):  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (card base) & 5-1/2" x 3" (poinsettia)
  • Bumblebee CS:  5-1/4" x 4" (embossed base layer)
  • Garden Green CS:  scraps (leaves)
  • Whisper White CS:  scraps (greeting label)
  • Poinsettia Place DSP:  (3) 1-1/2" x 3-3/4"
  • Real Red Sheer Ribbon:  7" (strip across card) & 5" (ribbon behind greeting label)

Here's the little treat bag I also made in the video below. The bag was made with the Little Treat Box Dies. The box itself is made with the Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper. Now, all of the products from the Poinsettia Place Suite have been used!

The Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper is white vellum with white, flocked designs. It's so soft! There are three different, 12" x 12" designs in this paper pack, and there are two of each design. You can see all of the designs in the video below.

There are a few different poinsettia sizes in this suite, so you have a lot of versatility with them. I used the smallest poinsettia dies to make this beauty. I used the same label die I used on the card. I also heat embossed the greeting with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder. Note:  I said the label was made with Whisper White cardstock in the video, but I meant to say Shimmery White cardstock. I love the shimmer with the heat embossing!

The picture above shows the depth of the treat box a little better. This box is so cute!

The Beaded Pearls were too big for this little poinsettia, so I used three of the smallest pearls in the Pearl Basic Jewels from the Annual Catalog.

Here's what the treat box looks like from the back. I wanted to show you this so you can see the whole shape of the treat box, and to see more of that beautiful flocked paper.

Dimensions:
  • Real Red CS:  scraps (poinsettia)
  • Garden Green CS:  scraps (leaves)
  • Shimmery White CS:  scraps (greeting label)
  • Plush Poinsettia Specialty Paper:  5-3/4" x 7-1/4" (treat box)
  • Real Red Shimmer Ribbon:  Enough to make a bow
  • Pearl Basic Jewels:  (3) small pearls

Mini Catalog Sneak Peek - Peace & Joy Bundle

Today's Sneak Peek card features the Peace & Joy Bundle from the upcoming August - December 2020 Mini Catalog. You don't have too long to wait to order from this catalog...It starts next Tuesday, August 4, 2020!

I used new Designer Series Paper (DSP) from the mini catalog, too. It's called Heartwarming Hugs DSP. There are so many great designs in this paper, and some can be used for projects other than Christmas...like the design I used.

The ribbon is also new. It's called Mossy Meadow Diagonal Stripe Ribbon. You can get two different looks with this ribbon. I used the side where the wider stripes are Mossy Meadow. The wider stripes on the other side are white.

The color combo I used came from some of the colors in the DSP...Real Red & Mossy Meadow.

I love the dies in this bundle. They're called Joy Dies. There are three different words, and three different dies for each word. I used two the largest dies for the "Joy" word. I love being able to die-cut a perfect mat for the word. So much easier than fussy cutting!

I love the word-strip stamps in the set, too. I did fussy cut the "to the world" strip out, but as you'll see in the video below, it's super easy to cut out.

I made my own designer paper on the top part of the Whisper White layer. The holly and berries are stamps in the Peace & Joy set.

As you can see, I embossed stamped "Joy" in gold. I really like the look.

The inside of the card was stamped with a lot of the stamps in the set. I love how it turned out. It could even pass as a front of a card, too.

Dimensions:
  • Mossy Meadow:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 3-1/8" x 4-3/8" (stamped layer's mat)
  • Real Red:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer) & 3" x 2" ("Joy" mat)
  • Whisper White:  3" x 4-1/4" (stamped layer), 2-3/4" x 2" (stamped "Joy"), & 4" x 5-1/4" (inside)
  • Heartwarming Hugs DSP:  3" x 1-1/2"
  • Mossy Meadow Diagonal Stripe Ribbon:  5"

Mini Catalog Sneak Peek - Christmas Means More Meets Cherish the Season

I've got another Christmas card to share with you today, and it features more products from Stampin' Up!'s upcoming August - December 2020 Mini Catalog. I'm doing a lot of Christmas cards right now, since everyone likes "Christmas in July"!

The Mini Catalog sneak peek products I used on today's card are the Christmas Means More Stamp Set, Cherish the Season Bundle, Tis the Season 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper (DSP), and the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

The Christmas Means More & Cherish the Season Bundle go wonderfully together! I love how the bells in the stamp coordinate with the bell dies!

Do you notice how the holly in the Tis the Season DSP strip I used coordinates with the holly in the bell die-cuts? Stampin' Up!'s coordination is the BEST!

I used Champagne Foil Sheets for the bell die-cuts, and paired it with the gold cord in the Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack. I didn't used to use different metallics together on a project until Stampin' Up! started doing it. We've had some DSP packs that have included different metallics together the last few years, and they've been gorgeous! We have another DSP pack with different metallics in it from the new Mini Catalog, too. It's called Gilded Autumn Specialty DSP, and it has both copper & gold foils. If you would like to see this beautiful paper, you can in the unboxing video I did at the beginning of the month. You can see it by CLICKING HERE. This link will take you directly to where I show the paper. If you want to see all of the Fall & Halloween stuff I got from the new Mini Catalog, you'll want to rewind to the beginning of the video.

Here's a close-up of those gorgeous bells. It's a little hard to see the colors in the video below, so I wanted to make sure to include a close-up picture of them here. The bell dies I used actually cut out the holly leaves and berries. That's nice if you want openings in the bell, but I wanted to keep the leaves and holly in place so I could add some color to them with Stampin' Blends. I show you an easy trick on how to make this happen in the video below.

I absolutely love the Christmas is More Stamp Set! It includes four different quotes from my favorite Christmas movies! I just had to use the quote that comes from my favorite Christmas movie first...It's a Wonderful Life. You can see all of the quotes in this set in the video below. I colored the bells in with Stampin' Blends, but totally forgot to do the bell on the right on the card I made in the video. Thankfully, I colored them all in on the card pictured. LoL

Dimensions:
  • Cherry Cobbler:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Basic Black:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer) & 1-1/8" x 5-1/8" (DSP mat)
  • Whisper White:  (2) 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" (stamped front layer and inside layer)
  • Tis the Season DSP:  1" x 5-1/8"
  • Champagne Foil Sheets:  3-1/2" x 2"
  • Wonder of the Season Ribbon Combo Pack:  enough for 2 bows (gold cord)
