On the FIRST CARD and SECOND CARD in the class, I made the tractor using both the stamp set & die set in the Tractor & Co Bundle. On today's card, I made it using only the dies. I wanted to make the tractor die-cuts look a little roughed up, so I brushed all of the Crushed Curry die-cuts with Crushed Curry ink using a Blending Brush. It really gives my tractor some character. In the video, I forgot to put the roof over the driver seat, and you can see both versions in the title picture at the top of the post.
I did use the stamp set in the bundle on the card, though. I used it to make my cornfield, and the sentiment comes from the stamp set, too.
As on the first card, I used the Timeless Plaid Designer Series Paper (DSP) on this card. There are a lot of different plaid designs in different colors in this DSP pack, but I ended up using another green one. It is a little different plaid design, and the dark squares are darker then the other plaid design I used on the other card. So it is a little different. 😉
I knew I wanted to emboss the Pecan Pie base layer, but I wasn't sure which embossing folder I wanted to use. When I started going through the ones I have, I came across my Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. Of course, it was the one I just had to use!
I've used the Adesive-Backed Textured Dots on every card in this class. The first two had a use...lug nuts for the first card's tires and corner accents for my frame on the second card. This time, I used them like I usually use embellishments...I put three randomally on the card, forming a little triangle. I used one large and two small dots from the pack.
