I'm back with another Short & Sweet Saturday card for you. I once again used the beautiful Wishing You Well Stamp Set & Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the upcoming Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog. The last card I made with these products, I used the wreath in the stamp set. This time, I used the leaf spray one, along with the mini flowers stamp. I love this color combo, too! I used the new colors Granny Apple Green & Gorgeous Grape with Early Espresso. I'm definitely going to remember this color combo!
You can purchase the stamp set and embossing folder in 4 more days! The Holiday Catalog goes live THIS Wednesday, September 5 @ 3 AM (MT). FYI: Ordering will be down midnight - 3 a.m. (MT) on September 5 while Stampin' Up! transitions things for the new Holiday Catalog.
Dimensions:
- Early Espresso: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) and 4" x 2" (embossed strip)
- Granny Apple Green: 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed base layer)
- Whisper White: 2-3/4" x 3-3/4" (oval) and 4" x 5-1/4" (inside of card)
- Gorgeous Grape 1/4" Mini Striped Ribbon: 6" and 4"
- Emboss the top three-fourths of the Granny Apple Green piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Stamp the "wishing you well" stamp from the Wishing You Well Stamp Set onto the bottom, left corner of the piece using the Gorgeous Grape Classic Stampin' Pad.
- Emboss the smallest Early Espresso piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Attach the piece across the bottom part of the Granny Apple Green piece, placing it just above the greeting. Wrap the 6" piece of the ribbon around the top part of the Early Espresso piece, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the Granny Apple Green piece. Fold the largest Early Espresso piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the Granny Apple Green piece to the middle of the card front.
- Stamp the leaf spray stamp onto the center of the smallest Whisper White piece using the Granny Apple Green Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the mini flowers stamp onto the center of the leaf spray using the Gorgeous Grape ink pad. Without re-inking, stamp the right side, and then the left side of the leaf spray. Stamp the bow stamp onto the bottom stems using the Gorgeous Grape ink pad. Note: When stamping with these stamps, make sure not to push down too hard. Pushing too hard will not show the different shades the stamp makes.
- Die-cut the image out with the largest oval die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Attach the oval to the right side of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (see picture for placement). Tie the 4" piece of ribbon onto the left side of the attached ribbon, using a single knot. Cut the ribbon ends at an angle.
- Inside of Card (picture on the right): Stamp the spray stamp onto the bottom, left corner of the largest Whipser White piece using the Granny Apple Green ink pad. The left side of the spray stamp should be off of the edge of the cardstock. Stamp the mini flowers stamp onto both sides of the leaf spray, without re-inking in-between. Attach the piece to the inside of the card.
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
