I finally have a Short & Sweet Saturday card for you. I've been dying to make something with something from my Holiday Catalog Preorder, and I finally got to! I LOVE being a demo! I get to get new products EARLY! 😃
What about that tin tile layer? Isn't it beautiful? I used the new Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder from the upcoming Holiday Catalog. I could tell I would love it from the pictures and videos I've seen, but I love it even more in person! The stamp set I used is also from the Holiday Catalog called Wishing You Well. This stamp set can make beautiful Christmas wreaths, but I wanted to show how it can be used on non-Christmas cards, too. This stamp set is part of the DistINKtive Line of stamp sets. If you look at the close-up picture below, you can see all of the detail in the images. I only stamped the wreath and the bow one time each!
Dimensions:
- Soft Sea Foam: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 4" x 1" (strip)
- Petal Pink: 4" x 5-1/4" (base layer)
- Whisper White: 4-1/4" x 2-3/4" (wreath & bow)
- Champagne Foil Sheets: 3" x 4" (tin tile layer)
- Metallic Ribbon Combo: 6" (Petal Pink)
Instructions:
- Stamp the flower group stamp from the Wishing You Well Stamp Set onto both sides of the top two-thirds of the Petal Pink piece using the Petal Pink Classic Stampin' Pad. Emboss the Champagne Foil Sheet piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Use the following sandwich: (starting from the bottom) Big Shot Platform, folder with cardstock inside, and a Standard Cutting Mat. Attach the piece to the top, center of the Petal Pink piece.
- Stamp the "sending you..." stamp onto the bottom, right corner of the Petal Pink piece using the Gray Granite Classic Stampin' Pad. Attach the Soft Sea Foam strip piece across the bottom of the tin tile piece. Wrap the Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon piece around the middle of the strip, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the Petal Pink piece. Fold the largest Soft Sea Foam piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the Petal Pink piece to the center of the card front.
- Stamp the wreath stamp onto one end of the Whisper White piece using the Soft Sea Foam Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the bow stamp onto the other end of the piece using the Petal Pink ink pad. Die-cut the wreath out with the second, largest circle die from the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies. Fussy cut the bow out with Paper Snips. Attach the bow to the top, center of the wreath, and then attach the wreath to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (see picture for placement).
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
