I used one of my favorite stamp sets from the upcoming Holiday Catalog, Country Home, for this week's Short & Sweet Saturday card. I just realized that I never made this month's Thank You card for my Monthly Host Code Giveaway! This month is sure getting away from me! This will be this month's card. I used the Faceted Gems on the "Thanks" oval on the jug.
I used the new Galvanized Metallic Paper with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, both from the Holiday Catalog. This paper is different from our foil paper. It has a matte finish, and the galvanized metallic look is on BOTH sides. I really love it being on both sides. I used the Country Lane Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog, too.
Dimensions:
- Mint Macaron: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
- Blackberry Bliss: 2-3/4" x 4-1/4"
- Whisper White: 2-1/2" x 4" & scraps
- Galvanized Metallic Paper: 1-1/2" x 5-1/4"
- Country Lane Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3" x 5-1/4"
- Fold the Mint Macaron piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Cut off a 1/2" x 5-1/4" strip off of the DSP piece, and turn it over to show the Blackberry Bliss side. Attach the largest DSP piece onto the right side of the card front with the cotton design facing up, making sure the border around the top, right, and bottom of the piece is the same. Attach the narrow DSP strip to the left side of the card with the Blackberry Bliss side facing up, making sure the border around the top, left, and bottom of the piece is the same. Emboss the Galvanized Metallic Paper piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Tin Tile Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Attach the embossed piece to the left side of the card, over the space between the two DSP pieces.
- Stamp the jug stamp from the Country Home Stamp Set onto the bottom, center of the Whisper White piece using the Tuxedo Black Memento Pad. Stamp the cotton bouquet stamp on top of the jug using the same ink pad. Color the jug in with the Smoky Slate Stampin' Write Combo Pack. Color the leaves with the Mint Macaron Stampin' Write Combo Pack. Color the flower with the Cajun Craze Stampin' Write Combo Pack. Color the berries with the Blackberry Bliss Stampin' Write Combo Pack. Color the brownish images with the Soft Suede Stampin' Write Combo Pack. Color the bottom of the cotton (along the leaves) with the Light Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends. Attach the piece to the center of the Blackberry Bliss piece, and attach it to the card, just right of center, using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the oval label stamp onto a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock using the Memento Pad. Stamp the "Thanks" stamp onto the center of the oval using the same ink pad. Fussy cut the oval out, and attach it to the jug. Attach a small Blackberry Bliss dot from the Faceted Dots onto each end of the oval.
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
