I've decided to do theme weeks this month, and the first week of September is going to showcase this beautiful Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP)! Today, I'm using both sides of the first sheet shown in the picture above. The stamp set is from the Holiday Catalog (which starts TOMORROW), and it's called Dashing Deer. I also used an embossing folder from the Holiday Catalog, and it's called Swirls & Curls.
Dimensions:
- Garden Green: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
- Cherry Cobbler: 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
- Whisper White: 3" x 3" (circle) & 3" x 3/4" (greeting)
- Gold Foil Sheets: 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" (scallop circle)
- Dashing Along Designer Series Paper (DSP): 2" x 5-1/4" (banner) & 3" x 3-1/2" (reindeer)
Instructions:
- Emboss the Cherry Cobbler piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Swirls & Curls Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Punch one of the short ends of the Dashing Along DSP banner piece by inserting it all the way into the Banner Triple Punch, using the widest guide, and then punching. Attach the banner down the center of the embossed layer, lining the top, straight edge of the banner with the top edge of the embossed layer. Fold the Garden Green piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the embossed layer to the center of the card front.
- Die-cut a circle out of the square piece of Whisper White using the second, largest circle die from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Emboss the circle by running it through the Big Shot with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Die-cut a scallop circle out of the Gold Foil piece using the largest scallop die. Attach the embossed circle to the center of the scallop circle, and attach it to the top, center of the card (see picture).
- Die-cut a reindeer out of the last DSP piece using the leaping deer die from the Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies. Attach the reindeer to the center of the circle using Mini Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the "Happiest Christmas Wishes" stamp from the Dashing Deer Stamp Set onto the center of the smallest Whisper White piece using the Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad. Cut both ends of the piece at an angle using Paper Snips. Attach the greeting to the bottom, right side of the card (see picture)
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
