Peaceful Lake - Waterfront

Ok, I'm in LOVE with this stamp set! This is the first card I've made with it so far, but I know I'll be making many more! It's so much fun to play with! I see a beach scene for my next card made with it.

I also used the wonderful masculine True Gentleman Designer Series Paper from the Occasions Catalog. I really like the color combo in this paper set. I also used the True Gentleman Buttons and Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon. All three of these items are included in the True Gentleman Suite. The corduroy ribbon is great! I love the corduroy look, and it's so soft!

Dimensions:
  • Night of Navy:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 3-1/4" x 4-1/2" (image mat)
  • Crumb Cake:  4" x 5-1/4" (base layer)
  • Very Vanilla:  3" x 4-1/4"
  • True Gentleman Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 2"
  • Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon"  6"
  • Linen Thread:  6"
  • True Gentleman Buttons:  1 large button
Instructions:
  1. Fold the Night of Navy card base piece, from the True Gentleman Cardstock Pack in half (fold on the left). Attach the True Gentleman DSP piece across the bottom of the Crumb Cake piece from the True Gentleman Cardstock Pack. Wrap the Night of Navy 3/8" Corduroy Ribbon around the top edge of the DSP, attaching the ribbon ends to the back of the Crumb Cake piece. Attach the whole thing to the Night of Navy card base.
  2. Stamp the long, narrow strip stamp from the Waterfront Stamp Set across the middle of the Very Vanilla piece using the Garden Green Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the wide, squiggly brushstroke stamp along the bottom edge of the Garden Green image using the Soft Sky Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the double-line brushstroke stamp over the top of the Soft Sky image using the Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the mountain-like stamp along the top edge of the Garden Green image using the Crumb Cake Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the circle stamp onto the top, left of the mountains using the Crushed Curry Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the "Friends make the..." stamp onto the bottom, left corner of the Very Vanilla piece using the Night of Navy ink pad.
  3. Ink the branch sections of the tree trio stamp with the Tranquil Tide marker from the Chocolate Chip & Tranquil Tide Stampin' Write Markers. Ink up the trunks of the trees with the other marker in the set, Chocolate Chip. Stamp the trees onto the right side of the Garden Green strip. Attach the piece to the center of the Night of Navy image mat piece. Then, attach it to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
  4. Thread the Linen Thread piece through the holes in a large button from the True Gentleman Buttons, forming an "x" shape, and tie it on with a double-knot. Attach it to the bottom right corner of the Very Vanilla piece using a Mini Glue Dot.
When attaching pieces, use SNAIL Adhesive, unless stated otherwise.
