My FIRST CARD was a Fall card, and so is this one. I decided to do more Fall cards than Christmas for this class, because this is the time to get those Fall cards made. Don't worry, the last card will be a Christmas card.
I love this second Fall image in the stamp set. Doesn't it look like she's having fun? It's such a cute stamp, and I also love the sentiment from the stamp set that goes along with it. As with all of the cards in this class, I intentionally left white space when coloring the image with Stampin' Blends. This really goes will with the sketch-like look of the image.
I promise I didn't plan this, but like the first card, the inspiration for this card is also on p. 103 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. It's the Sweet Peas card on the page.
I used another Fall design from the Iconic Celebrations Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack from the Online Exclusives. This is a 6" x 6" pack, and it includes 12 double-sided designs (four of each design). Yes, this plaid design is great for Fall projects, but it could be used on so many more projects that aren't Fall.
To go along with the DSP design, I used the new Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder for the Cajun Craze layer. This is another LARGE embossing folder, and it's in the Reindeer Days Suite in the Holiday Mini. Stampin' Up! started offering these large embossing folders in the current Annual Catalog, and they're so wonderful! I was able to emboss two pieces at a time when I started making the card kits, and that helps me out a lot! You can see the size comparison between what used to be our largest embossing folder and this one in the video above.
All of my cards for this class feature the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots. These dots and the DSP I'm using are a part of the Iconic Celebrations Suite in the Online Exclusives. Each color comes in two sizes, and I used one small & 2 large Pecan Pie dots on this card. The Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code ZEEARBK4, by October 2nd, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
I decided to use another design from the Iconic Celebrations DSP than the outside of the card. It's okay to use different designs from a DSP pack, because they all coordinate so well together.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Tuesday for the Last Card of the Class
