Beginning with the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog, I'm going to showcase all of the suites when a new catalog begins. Today, I'm Featuring the Sentimental Christmas Suite.

What makes this suite so special is the old-fashioned feel of it. The Sentimental Wishes Bundle includes the Sentimental Wishes Stamp Set and Sentimental Wishes Dies. The stamp set has some beautiful, vintage-style images, and the sentiments have a wonderful old-fashioned Christmas-like script font. If you love the old-fashioned Christmas look, then you need this bundle! The die-set includes dies that die-cut the images out from the stamp set, along with a stand-alone leafy die.
The Sentimental Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the suite has that wonderful old-fashioned feel to it, too. The images in the DSP and bundle, and the script font in the sentiment stamps, make me think of The Christmas Carol (Scrooge).
Last, but not least, the embellishments. There are two embellishments in this suite. There's one that I didn't use on my card, and it's the Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer Ribbon. This ribbon is gorgeous, and I can't wait to use it on my next Sentimental Christmas Suite card.
I did use the Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments. I was wrong on the definition of "drusy" in my video above. The definition is "covered with minute crystals : containing cavities lined with crystals". Think of those hollow rocks you've seen split open with chunky "crystal-like" things attached the lining of the hollow part of the rock. That's exactly what these embellishments look like, too! They come in two colors, champagne & white, and each color comes in two sizes. I used one large and two small in the champagne color.

I wanted the inside of my card to coordinate with the candle design DSP I used on the front, so I stamped the candles stamp onto the bottom, right corner of the Basic White inside layer, and I colored it in with Stampin' Blends.
