The Frosted Forest Bundle was another bundle I almost didn't get, but I'm so glad I did. I have to admit, I have fun using the bundles with the Decorative Masks. The Frosted Forest Decorative Masks color in the tree on this card and the larger evergreen stamp in bundle's stamp set. This bundle also includes dies! As usual, when you purchase this bundle, you'll save 10% off versus purchasing the three products individually.
I did use the decorative masks to color this tree in. The main part of the leaves were colored in with Pumpkin Pie ink and the smaller splotches were colored in with Cajun Craze ink. I can't wait to make this card for a winter card. I'll turn those smaller splotches into snow!
I used a new Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack, and it's called Sweet Days of Autumn DSP. This DSP is in the new Scrapbooking Brochure. It's a 12" x 12" pack, and it includes three designs - four of each design. I used one of the pattern designs, but there are some cute image designs, too.
I Show All of the Designs in the Video Above
Before I forget, I had someone ask me during the video the weight of our cardstock. Here's the answer and a few other paper weights:
- Color Cardstock: 80 lb
- Basic White & Very Vanilla: 80 lb
- Thick Basic White Cardstock: 100 lb
- Watercolor Paper: 110 lb
- DSP: 145-160 gsm
- Foil Sheets: 100 lb
Also, all of the paper listed above is acid & lignin free. We do have a new line of cardstock...two-tone cardstock. I don't know exactly what the weight is for it, but it is lighter than our color cardstock and thicker than our DSP.
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code ZEEARBK4, by September 25th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Monday for the Second Card of the Class
