12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween 2024 Week #5 - Potions & Spells Easel Card

It's time for another Halloween project for my 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween! I know I just posted one on Monday, but I've got some catching up to do on this series! LoL

So far this year, all of my projects for this series have been 3D projects. This time, I decided to make a fun fold card. This one is an easel card. It's actually a regular card with an added easel on the front. It's pretty easy to make, and you can learn how in my video above.

Once again, I used the cute Halloween bundle, Potions & Spells. This bundle is not in a catalog, but it can be found in the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives. You can also see the bundle my video.

I used the super fun Halloween Designer Series Paper (DSP), Halloween Spells. This new DSP pack is in the new September 2024 Scrapbooking Brochure. Scrapbooking? Yes! Stampin' Up! has come out with a line of products geared for scrapbooking. If you're not a scrapbooker, that's okay. You can still use the products to make cards, too. I used to scrapbook, and I'm looking forward into getting back into it as soon as I can! Don't worry...I'll still be making cards, too!

I also used the Festive Glimmer Paper from the September-December 2024 Mini Catalog. I almost missed this wonderful glimmer paper! If you did, you can find it on p. 53 in the mini, and you can order it by clicking on it in the supply list below.

Here's a side-view of my easel card. See what I mean? The Pumpkin Pie section is a regular card, and the Granny Apply Green section is the easel part on the front of the card. It's so much fun and easy to make!

Here's a picture of the inside of the card. I stamped the book-stack stamp onto the bottom, right corner of the Basic White layer using Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and then I colored the books in with Stampin' Blends.

Dimensions (CS=Cardstock):

• Pumpkin Pie CS:  5-1/2" x 8-1/2" (folded in half to form card base)
• 3/4" x 1" (potion in one of the tall bottles)
• Granny Apple Green CS:  5-1/4" x 8" (easel part of card)
• With an 8" side along the top, score @ 4" & 6"
• Granny Apple Green CS:  3/4" x 3/4" (potion in short bottle)
• Gorgeous Grape CS:  3/4" x 1" (potion in other tall bottle)
• Pool Party CS:  2-1/2" x 1-1/2" (all three bottles)
• Basic Black CS:  3-1/4" x 2-3/4" (cauldron)
• Basic White CS:  2-1/4" x 2-3/4" (cat)
• 5-1/4" x 4" (inside layer)
• Festive Glimmer Paper:  2-1/4" x 2" (Granny Apple Green-bubbles & potion drips)
• Halloween Spells DSP:  5" x 3-3/4" (books design)
• 5" x 1-3/4" (Granny Apple Green bubbles design)
