The FIRST CARD and the SECOND CARD for this class are Fall cards, but this one is a Christmas one. There is another image in the stamp set that can be used on Christmas cards, but since I make three cards for these classes, I wasn't able to use it. You can see it when I show the stamp set in the video above.
Another thing I didn't plan to do...I used Pecan Pie cardstock for the sentiments on all three cards. I even stamped all of the sentiments in Early Espresso ink. LoL Isn't that a beautiful font? All of the sentiments in this stamp set have the same wonderful font.
As you can see, I used the same technique I used on the other two cards when coloring the image in with Stampin' Blends. I intentionally left some white space. This technique is a perfect way to get that watercolor-look, and it looks so good with these sketch-type images.
This time, my inspiration for this card was from one of the card sketches (layouts) on p. 22 of the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I used the fourth one from the left on the top row. I've gotten inspiration from the card sketches on this page so many times. They're a great resource. Don't miss the sketches on p. 16 in the Holiday Mini, too!
Like the second card, I used the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. This folder is so versatile, and I think it looks great on this card. It gives me a warm, Christmas feeling. I love how it can be used all year-long, too.
This time, I used the Clear dots from the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots. There are two sizes of dots for each color in the pack, and I used one large & two small of the Clear dots on this card. I went back and forth on whether to keep them clear or add some color. I decided to keep them clear this time, but it is easy to add some color with Stampin' Blends. The Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code ZEEARBK4, by October 2nd, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Adhesive-Backed Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
Once again, I used a different Christmas design from this DSP for the inside of my card. I chose the plaid one because it had the same Mossy Meadow color as the design I used on the outside of the card. It's also plaid to go along with the embossing on the front.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
I Hope You Enjoyed my Warms My Heart Card Class @ Home!
