Day 4 - Butterfly Card Live Replay – 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar Series

Day 4 of my 12 Days of Crafting Advent Calendar Series is officially wrapped up, and what a fun project this one was. This cheerful butterfly card just makes me smile. The bright color combo, the sweet butterfly accents, and the simple layout all come together to create a card that feels light, happy, and perfect for lifting someone’s spirits. During tonight’s Live, we walked through the whole card step-by-step, and it was so much fun getting together with everyone that watched. The butterfly really took center stage once I added that pop of Misty Moonlight behind it, and the clean layering made it easy to build a polished design without overthinking any part of it. It’s the kind of project that comes together quickly but still feels special when it’s finished. If you love cards that are bright and cheerful without being fussy, this one is right up your alley.

One of my favorite parts of this design is how it featured the Day 4 Advent product so well, which is a pack of label ephemera. The scallop square with the gold border is only one of the labels in the pack. Check out the video above to see them all. The colors work so well together too, giving the whole card a fresh, uplifting look. It’s such a great card for sending a note of encouragement or just letting someone know you’re thinking about them.

To finish off the card, I stamped the beautiful butterfly onto the bottom, left corner of the inside layer. A quick & easy way to coordinate the outside with the inside of the card.
