The FIRST CARD for this class featured some of the stand-alone tree dies in the Forever Forest Bundle, but this one features some of the tree stamps in the bundle. The pine trees in the Forever Forest Stamp Set are so beautiful, and I love that the Forever Forest Die Set in the bundle has dies that will die-cut all of the stamped tree images. There are three tree stamps in the set, and I used two of them here. I used the other one on the inside of the first card (link to that card is above). The tree line on the card base is one stamp, and the three larger trees that I die-cut out are the other trees stamp.

This card base of this card is a little different than usual. The front of the card is shorter than the back so the Designer Series Paper (DSP) on the inside of the card can still be seen when the card is closed. You can learn how to make it in the video above.

Speaking of the DSP, the DSP strip is one of the beautiful Christmas designs in the Joy of Christmas DSP in the Holiday Mini. Isn't it gorgeous? I put a narrow strip of Real Red cardstock along the bottom edge of the card front to dress it up a bit. Before I added it, the card really didn't look finished.

Once again, the Christmas greeting I used is from the Christmas Classics Stamp Set in the Holiday Mini. This is a great Christmas greeting set, and it has some images in it, too. It also has coordinating dies called Christmas Classics Dies. These can also be purchased as a bundle to save 10%!

When I was making this card, I had two card base colors in mind...the Basic White one and the Old Olive one above. After making both of them, I wasn't sure which one I liked the best. I was leaning towards the Basic White one, but I really liked the Old Olive card base, too. So, I shared both cards on my FACEBOOK PAGE, and I asked my followers which one they liked the best. I told them the winner would be the one used in the class. I had a lot of votes, and the winner was the Basic White one.

The featured embellishment for this Card Class @ Home is the Loose Silver Sequins. These sequins are great for shaker cards since they aren't adhesive-backed, but they can be used for so much more than that! There are three different sequin sizes, and I used quite a few of them on this card. When I chose these sequins for this class, this is what made me want to use them. I pictured using them as snowflakes coming down in a forest, and that is exactly what I did on this card. The Loose Silver Sequins are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get it added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code XMH6XSC2, by October 25th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Loose Silver Sequins Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

Here's what the card looks like when it's open. Since I already had the DSP strip along bottom of the inside of the card, I didn't add anything else. The DSP is perfect!

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.

Come Back Tuesday for the Last Card of the Class
