The Forever Forest is a must-have bundle! As you can see, it's perfect for Christmas cards, but it can be used for so much more! A lot of ladies that watched the recorded Live last night said they needed it after seeing me make the cards for this class. Did you miss it last night? No worries! You can watch it anytime by clicking on the video above.
The Forever Forest Bundle includes both the Forever Forest Stamp Set & Forever Forest Dies. When you purchase these two together with the bundle item number, you will save 10% versus purchasing them separately. The dies includes dies that die-cut the images in the stamp set, but there are also dies that stand alone...like the ones that die-cut these trees and the mountains behind them. The mountain die not only die-cuts the mountain out, it embosses it, too!
The stamp set in this bundle doesn't have any greeting stamps in it, but that's okay. That means you can use any greeting stamp you have for any kind of occasion. Since I wanted to make all three Christmas cards, I decided to use the Christmas Classics Stamp Set from the Holiday Mini on all of them.
This is the first Card Class @ Home that I've made all Christmas cards this year, and there will be more. Once again, I chose one Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack for all three cards, and I chose the beautiful Joy of Christmas DSP. This DSP is also in the Holiday Mini. There are some beautiful Christmas designs in this pack and others that can be used all year long, like this Shaded Spruce check design. The trees and the circle behind the trees were also die-cut with other patterns in the DSP pack.
It's hard to tell in the pictures, but the Cherry Cobbler base layer was embossed with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder in the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I thought it was a good pick since there are music notes on the DSP circle behind the trees. I thought "Deck the Halls" was a perfect greeting with the music notes, too.
I always pick out an embellishment for my Card Class @ Homes, and I did here, too. This time, I chose the Loose Silver Sequins from the annual catalog. These sequins are great for shaker cards since they aren't adhesive-backed, but I like putting them on a regular card, too. There are three different sequin sizes, and I used 2 of each size on this card. The Loose Silver Sequins are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get it added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code XMH6XSC2, by October 25th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Loose Silver Sequins Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
I did use the Forever Forest Stamp Set on the inside of the card. I stamped the smaller single tree stamp in the set twice onto the bottom, left corner of the inside layer using Shaded Spruce ink.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Sunday for the Second Card of the Class
