Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day

The first card for my class is a monochromatic card. For those of you that haven't heard of this type of card, it means using only one color, besides the neutral color. For this card, I chose Moody Mauve, which is part of the 2023-2025 In Color Collection. My neutral is Very Vanilla.

The large floral stamp in the set is gorgeous when colored, but it still looks really beautiful if you just stamp it in a color and not color it in. I did do a little more than just stamp it this time, though. I took a Blender Pen, and made the ink bleed a little bit on the flower centers and the large leaf. This is a quick way to color an image in a little bit. You can see how I did it in the video above.

Are you wondering where that Designer Series Paper (DSP) strip came from? It's from the gorgeous All About Autumn DSP from the Sept-Dec Mini. This double-sided patterned paper has gorgeous fall pictures and scenes on one side and foil designs, like this one, on the other.

This DSP pack has been so popular that it has sold out twice already! No worries, though...a new shipment will be coming in a couple weeks. Thankfully, I have plenty of the DSP for my card kits already.

As usual, I picked out one embellishment pack to feature for this Card Class @ Home, and it's the  Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots...also from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. The speckled look of these dots, along with the colors, are gorgeous. The colors are Mossy Meadow, Moody Mauve, Copper Clay, & Crumb Cake, and each color comes in two different sizes. On today's card, I used 2 large and 1 small in the Moody Mauve dots. The Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code KE2DB7TX, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

For the inside of the card, I stamped a partial image of those beautiful flowers. This stamp is really so pretty!

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.

Come Back Monday for the Second Card of the Class
