Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day
TOMORROW, September 27, 2023

On the FIRST CARD of this class, I stamped the main floral image in an ink color and showed how to use a Blender Pen to color it in a little bit without using any more ink. I used dies for the main images on the SECOND CARD. This time, I colored the beautiful main images in with my favorite coloring medium, Stampin' Blends. I love the shading I can get with these wonderful alcohol markers!

I used two different embossing folders on the class cards, too. I used the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder on the first two cards, and I used my new favorite embossing folder, Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder, on this card. I wanted the embossing to show up a bit more, so I brushed Crumb Cake ink over the embossing using a Blending Brush. I think the added ink gives it an even more rustic look.

The wonderful All About Autumn Designer Series Paper (DSP) I used on all three cards not only has foil designs & Fall scenery designs, it also has a few texture designs and a couple vintage-looking book designs. A more Fall-looking design would have looked great on this card, but I chose one of the cool book designs instead. I really think it looks great on this card.

This card is a Fun Fold card. The front of the card base is shorter than the back, and this makes it so the DSP strip on the inside of the card can also be seen from the front when it's closed. It's a quick & easy way to make the card a little more special.

Like the other cards in this class, I used the new Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots...also from the Sept-Dec Mini Catalog. I zoomed in on this picture so you can see the speckled-look these beautiful dots have. These dots come in four different colors, and they are Mossy Meadow, Moody Mauve, Copper Clay, & Crumb Cake, and each color comes in two different sizes. On today's card, I used 2 each size in the Copper Clay dots. The Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code KE2DB7TX, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Speckled Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

Here's a picture of the card completely open. As you can see, I didn't add anything more to the inside of the card, except for the Very Vanilla layer. I thought the DSP strip was plenty. I wanted to make sure I had enough room to write in a note to whoever I give this card to.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
