On today's card, I used the last of the stamps in the So Very Merry Stamp Set. Yep, I used them ALL in this class. Isn't the stained glass bird adorable? I love it! I decided to make him a bluebird, but it could definiely be colored in any color you want. The "Very Merry" is the second of two greetings in the set that curve perfectly for the circular images in the set. The bird isn't circular, but the greeting still looks good with it...especially with it all being punched out with the 2-3/8" Circle Punch.
As with the first two cards, I colored the bird in with Stampin' Blends. I just love using the light & dark versions of a color from a Stampin' Blend Combo Pack on these stained glass images. It's so much fun!
As with the SECOND CARD, I used the One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper (DSP). Like the stamp set, this DSP pack is part of Stampin' Up!'s Online Exclusives. Once again, I didn't use the beautiful scenery designs. I used two of the patterned sides of the DSP because the color combo on the patterns worked better with the color combo I was using for the class.
Have you seen that ribbon before? The pictures don't show how much the gold shines in the light! This ribbon is also one of the Online Exclusives and it's called Real Red & Gold Dotted Ribbon. It'a a must-have for your Christmas projects!
I embossed the Crumb Cake base layer with the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. I think this embossing folder is perfect with the bird and a lot of Christmas projects.
As with all of my Card Class @ Homes, I picked out one embellishment for all three cards, and I chose the Festive Pearls from the Annual Catalog for this class. These pearls are perfect for Christmas projects. All of the pearls are small ones, and there are four different colors...Cherry Cobbler, light green, silver & gold. On today's card, I put three of the light green pearls around the circle on the card. The Festive Pearls are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

There were two stamps left in the stamp set, and I didn't want to neglect them. So, I stamped them both onto the inside of the card. I decided to stamp the cute gingerbread house with Real Red ink so I wouldn't have to color it in. The greeting was stamped with Shaded Spruce ink.
