Lasting Joy Card Class @ Home - Card #1

Here's the first card for my current Free Card Class @ Home. This class features the gorgeous Lasting Joy Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. The cards also feature the Countryside Corners Dies from the same catalog.

I start my weekly Card Class @ Home every Thursday, and they end on the following Wednesday. The Free class video is my weekly Thursday Live on my Facebook Page and YouTube Channel @ 7:30 pm (ET). You can see the video for this class below. I have added chapters to the video, so you can skip to the part you want to watch, too.

How would you like to get the card kits (includes the cardstock (cut, embossed, & die-cut), Designer Series Paper (DSP), & ribbon to make two each of the three cards in the class FREE?

Don't Forget! Orders Need to Be Placed by the End of the Day
Wednesday, August 30, 2023!

There are two things that really made me want the Lasting Joy Stamp Set in the first place. The largest flower in the set and the greetings...both the fonts & what they say. There isn't a die-set that die-cuts the flowers out, but they aren't hard to fussy cut at all. I give you some tips on how to cut them out in my video above.

There is a die-set that goes really well with this stamp set, though, and it's called Coutryside Corners Dies. There is a stamp set that coordinates with these dies, and it's called Countryside Corners Stamp Set. I decided to use this stamp set on my first card for the class, too. This stamp set is one large stamp that has a border that fits perfectly inside one of the dies in the die-set. I show this stamp in the video above, and I show how it works, too. You can purchase the Countryside Corners Stamp Set & Dies as a bundle, and save 10%!

I normally choose one Designer Series Paper (DSP) pack for my classes, and this time, I chose the beautiful Countryside Inn DSP. If you love different shades of blue, then you're going to want to get this DSP pack! I love ALL of the shades of blue in this pack. They are so pretty together!

Another thing I used on all three cards for the class is the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. It goes perfectly with all of the "Countryside" products I used. These three products (Countryside Corners Bundle, Countryside Inn DSP, & Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder) are combined in the Countryside Inn Suite from the Annual Catalog. If you want to order all three products at the same time, just click on "Countryside Inn Suite" above. The host code for the class is added in the suite link, too.

Once again, I picked out one embellishment for my Card Class @ Home cards, and I chose the Rhinestone Basics Jewels from the Annual Catalog. There are three different sizes of rhinestones in this pack, and I put one of the smallest rhinestones onto the center of each flower on today's card. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code 3BCDKWBC, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

For the inside of the card, I changed things up a bit. When I stamp an image onto the inside of my cards, I usually stamp it onto one of the bottom corners of the inside layer. This time, I decided to stamp an image onto the top, right corner. I really like it.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.

Come Back Tomorrow for the Second Card of the Class
