Wednesday, August 9, 2023!
There are two branch stamps in the Gorgeously Made Bundle. I used one on the FIRST CARD, and the other one on this card. I love the softness of this one. I stamped it three times without reinking. You can barely see the third impression on the left side of the "notebook" piece, so I only stamped it twice in the video. I paired it with the softer-looking branch die, too.
I also stamped the very cool texture border stamp in the stamp set across the bottom of the Lemon Lolly piece using Lemon Lolly ink. I also stamped it on the "notebook" piece, but made it darker & lighter in places. You can learn how I did it in the video above.
My thank you card for the class has a much softer color combo to it than the other two cards...Fresh Freesia, Lemon Lolly, & Lemon Lime Twist. Yes, this color combo came from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (DSP), too. There are SO many colors in this DSP pack that the possibilities are endless.
Notice how the bottom edge of the DSP layer has a torn edge? This was done with the other border die in the die-set in the bundle. I also used it along the bottom of the "notebook" piece.
As with all of the cards in this class, I used the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio. These sequins are from the same Masterfully Made Suite the bundle and DSP are from. There are three different colors in the pack...Berry Burst, Pretty Peacock, & White...and each color comes in two sizes. I wanted to use the white sequins in the pack, but I didn't want to keep them white. I colored them with the dark marker from the Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Combo. I LOVE the soft Fresh Freesia look to them. Once again, I used two of each size. The Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code VAAW7VPM, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Adhesive-Backed Sequins Trio Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
I stamped the texture border stamp along the bottom of the inside layer two times to get a wider texture strip, and then I stamped the top of the plant stamp from the outside of the card across it. I once again stamped it twice before reinking.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Tuesday for the Last Card of the Class
