Wednesday, August 30, 2023!
For my second class card, I used one of the two small flower stamps in the Lasting Joy Stamp Set. There is a small stamp with three leaves that goes perfectly around both of these flowers, and I used it here. You can see how to stamp the flower & leaves stamps in the video above.
In YESTERDAY'S CARD I used some white twine from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, and on this card, I used the super cute Misty Moonlight Inner Braid Ribbon from the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog. This is the first time I've used this ribbon, and I think it's so pretty! I love the braid in the middle of it. It makes it so special! The braid is only on one side of the ribbon, and I give tips on how to get the braided side to show on both tails of the knotted piece in the video.
There are so many pretty designs in the Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (DSP). This design is one of the lighter ones, since it has a Basic White background. Since it's lighter, I wanted to make the leaves on my stamped flowers lighter than one of the blues in the DSP. I added Crumb Cake to this blue color combo, and I think it looks great!
I also embossed both the Crumb Cake & Boho Blue layers on the front of the card with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder. The embossing lines up perfectly between the layers, and you can see how I did it in the video above.
Once again, I picked out one embellishment for my Card Class @ Home cards, and I chose the Rhinestone Basics Jewels from the Annual Catalog. There are three different sizes of rhinestones in this pack, and I put one of the smallest rhinestones onto the center of each of the four stamped flowers on today's card, along with a large rhinestone on each of the two bottom corners of the DSP layer. The Rhinestone Basic Jewels are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code 3BCDKWBC, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Rhinestone Basic Jewels Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
For the inside of the card, I decided to put a strip of the same DSP design I used on the front of the card along the bottom of the inside Basic White layer. I didn't put it all of the way down, though. I wanted a small border of the Basic White to show along the bottom of the DSP strip.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Tomorrow for the Last Card of the Class
