Short & Sweet Saturday - Merry Little Labels

As promised yesterday, here's my Short & Sweet Saturday card for this week. This card looks so elegant in person. This is the first card I've made using the Merry Little Labels Bundle and the 7/8" Striped Ribbon. As you can see, the only stamping that was done on this card was the "Let It Snow" label image, so it's super quick to make.

Do you remember what my customer online order thank gift is this month? Yep, it's the beautiful Foil Snowflakes pack! The snowflake sure looks pretty behind the label, and goes perfect with the "Let it Snow" theme. I almost went with the silver snowflake in the Foil Snowflakes, but I wanted a little more "pop". The gold snowflake sure makes a great accent color with the black and white color combo. Do you want to get these beautiful Foil Snowflakes free? CLICK HERE to find out how. You'll need to hurry, though. My free Foil Snowflakes offer ends on October 31, 2017.

Dimensions:
  • Basic Black:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Whisper White:  (2) 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed & inside layers) & 3" x 2" (image label)
  • Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP):  4" x 2" (snowflake paper)
  • Vintage Crochet Trim:  12"
  • 7/8" Striped Ribbon:  6"
  • Foil Snowflakes:  1 Gold
Instructions:
  1. Emboss one of the larger Whisper White pieces by running it through the Big Shot with the Holly Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Attach the snowflake paper from the Merry Little Christmas DSP across the bottom of the embossed layer. Wrap the 7/8" Striped Ribbon around the embossed layer, right above the DSP layer, and attach the ribbon ends to the back of the piece using SNAIL Adhesive. Fold the Basic Black piece in half to form the card base (fold on the left). Attach the embossed/DSP piece to the card base.
  2. Put a couple Mini Glue Dots onto the bottom, center half of the gold snowflake from the Foil Snowflakes. Put a Stampin' Dimensional onto the top, center half of the snowflake. Attach the snowflake to the center part of the card (see picture).
  3. Stamp the "Let it Snow" stamp from the Merry Little Labels Stamp Set onto one end of the smaller Whisper White piece using the Basic Black Archival Stampin' Pad. Punch the image out with the Everyday Label Punch. Put SNAIL Adhesive across the back of the label piece a few times (along the middle). Attach the Vintage Crochet Trim onto the adhesive, making a loop on each side of the label, making sure there's a ribbon end on each side, too. Put a Stampin' Dimensional over the ribbon (where it intersects) on the back of the label, and put a dimensional onto the top and bottom of the piece. Attach the label to the center of the gold snowflake.
  4. Inside of the card:  Put a strip of the widest washi tape from the Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape across the bottom of the last Whisper White piece, attaching the tape ends to the back of the piece. Attach the piece to the inside of the card.
