Joy Card

Here's the card I promised you yesterday. It's one of the cards that will be made at my Christmas Card Stamp-A-Stack next week. I LOVE the Year of Cheer Suite of products! All of the metallic colors are just gorgeous together!

Dimensions:

Thick Whisper White: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
Whisper White: 4" x 5-1/4' (embossed layer), 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" (joy circle)
Year of Cheer Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP): 2" x 5-1/4"
Foil Snowflakes: 1/2 snowflake (gold)
Year of Cheer Specialty Washi Tape: 6" (silver tape)

Instructions:

With an 8-1/2" side along the top of the Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score the card base piece at 5-1/2" mark. Fold along the score line to form the card base. Scoring first helps the thick cardstock fold better.
Stamp the "Season's Greetings" stamp from the Cheers to the Year Stamp Set onto the bottom, right corner of the Whisper White embossed piece using the Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad. Emboss a snowflake into middle of the piece using the Winter Wonder Textured Impression Embossing Folder. Attach the DSP piece along the left side of the piece. Attach the half snowflake over the right side of th embossed snowflake, lining the straight edge of the snowflake along the right side of th DSP. Attach the washi tape along the right side of the DSP layer. Attach the whole thing to the card base.
Stamp the lined, circle stamp onto the center of the Whisper White circle piece using the Smoky Slate ink pad. Stamp the "Joy" stamp into the center of it using the Soft Suede Classic Stampin' Pad. Die-cut the joy circle out with the #5 circle die (#1 being the smallest) from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies. Attach it to the center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (see picture for placement).
