My Opulent Oasis Card Class @ Home (CC@H) is such a pretty class for anyone who loves floral cards with soft colors, beautiful paper, and elegant stamped images. This class features the Opulent Oasis Bundle from the May-August 2026 Catalog, along with the Velvet Meadow Designer Series Paper and Dreamy Flowers embellishments from the Velvet Meadow Suite. I love how these products work together to create cards that feel soft and graceful, but still have plenty of color and detail. Today’s featured card is the first card from the class, and it has a beautiful mix of soft blue, white, green, and golden yellow.
The replay of the Live is still available to watch, so you can craft along whenever it works best for you. During the Live, I made all three cards in this CC@H class and shared how the different layers come together. This first card is a wonderful one to watch in the replay because it has several pretty details, including the embossed background, the DSP strip, the stamped and die-cut flower and leaves, and the layered greeting. It’s one of those cards that looks detailed, but the steps are very doable when you take them one layer at a time.

The Opulent Oasis Bundle is the star of this card, and that large flower image makes such a beautiful focal point. I stamped the flower in Daffodil Delight ink, and I love how the textured stamp gives the petals a soft, artistic look. The Peaceful Pine stamped leaves tucked behind the flower help frame it beautifully and make the flower stand out even more. The “Special Thanks” greeting is stamped in Peaceful Pine, too and layered over the flower and leaves, giving the card a sweet thank-you feel without covering too much of the pretty floral design.
The Velvet Meadow DSP adds a soft, elegant touch to this card. The vertical strip along the left side of the card has a Cloud Cover & Peaceful Pine floral pattern, along with white velvet flowers, that brings in just enough color and texture. It pairs beautifully with the Cloud Cover cardstock and the white embossed background. I also love how the DSP adds interest without competing with the large stamped flower. It gives the card a gentle garden feel.
The Dreamy Flowers embellishments add the perfect finishing touch to this card. I used the white flowers on the front, and they add a soft shine and sweet little detail around the greeting and focal point. They’re small, but they make a big difference. Little embellishments are like earrings for cards. You technically can skip them, but why would you when they make everything look finished? The card kits for this class include enough of these Dreamy Flowers embellishments to make the cards.
The inside of this card is kept simple and pretty. It has a white writing layer on the same soft blue card base, with a Daffodil Delight flower stamped along the bottom edge. Peaceful Pine leaves are stamped on both sides of the flower, creating a soft garden border. I love decorating the inside of cards because it makes the whole card feel complete, and this one still leaves plenty of room to write a personal message.
