My Opulent Oasis Card Class @ Home (CC@H) features three pretty floral cards made with the Opulent Oasis Bundle from the May-August 2026 Catalog. Today’s featured card is the second card in the class, and it has such a soft, sweet look. The pink card base, large flower, gentle background color, and little Dreamy Flowers embellishments all work together to make a cheerful friend card. This one feels bright and fresh, but still has a soft handmade look that makes it perfect for sending a thoughtful note.
The replay of the Live is still available to watch, so you can go back and see exactly how this card came together. In the replay, I show all three cards from the class, including how I used the Opulent Oasis Bundle with the Velvet Meadow DSP and Dreamy Flowers embellishments. This second card is especially fun because it has a beautiful embossed floral focal point that was colored with ink and Blending Brushes. It gives the card a soft, artistic look without needing lots of extra pieces.

The Opulent Oasis Bundle is featured beautifully on this card, and the large flower is the main focal point. This embossed image was made with the large die in the bundle and the coordinating Impressions Plate. The Impressions Plate makes the die emboss the flower and leaf image into the cardstock instead of cutting it out. I embossed the flower part again into another piece of Basic White cardstock, and fussy cut it out with scissors. After everything was done, I added color to the embossing with ink and Blending Brushes. I love how this brings out all of the embossed details in the flower, leaves, and center. When the inking was done, I attached the flower over the one in the large layer using Stampin' Dimensionals. The “Hello Friend” greeting is stamped on a Basic Beige strip and layered across the flower, making it easy to read while still keeping that pretty embossed image front and center.
The Velvet Meadow DSP is used on the inside of this card, and it gives the card a lovely finished look. A strip of the pink patterned paper runs down the left side of the inside layer, bringing the color and floral feel from the front into the inside. I really like how this DSP has a soft, textured look with delicate white leafy, velvet designs. It adds pattern without feeling too busy, which is perfect for a card that already has such a beautiful embossed flower on the front.
The Dreamy Flowers embellishments look so sweet on this card. I used the Bubble Bath flowers around the front of the card, and they help carry the pink color across the whole design. They add a little shine and dimension, and they make the card feel extra special. They also work beautifully with the floral theme, because they look like tiny blossoms sprinkled around the larger flower. The card kits for this class include enough of these Dreamy Flowers embellishments to make the cards.
