The FIRST CARD in this class taught how to use the hybrid folder to die-cut and emboss at the same time. Today's card shows how to make a butterfly-shaped card with another die in the set. This butterfly die can be used to make the card front butterfly-shaped, like it shows in the catalog, but I was so happy to find out it can be used to make the whole card butterfly-shaped.

I die-cut the detailed butterfly out of a piece of the Fresh Freesia design piece in the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper. With the bokeh look to the design, it gives the butterfly different shades of Fresh Freesia. It's so pretty!

There are also two label dies in this bundle. I used the long one for my "Happy Birthday" sentiment. The die actually makes a longer label, but I was able to shorten it to work better with the sentiment. You can learn how to do it in my video above.
The sentiment label needed a little something, so I added a sequin onto each end of the label. It's just what it needed! These sequins are from the Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins in the Sale-A-Bration Brochure. You can get a whole pack of these sequins FREE with a $60 order (before shipping & tax) through February 28, 2025. There are two sizes of sequins in each of the four colors, and I used two small ones from the Fresh Freesia ones.

Here's a picture of the inside of the card. I die-cut the same butterfly that is the middle butterfly layer on the front of the card. I decided not to stamp on it, because I wanted to have plenty of room to write a note inside. I think the butterfly shape all by itself is enough to decorate the inside, though, don't you?
