Live Replay - Cascading Pleats Fun Fold Card

Today's card was the card I made during my Weekly Live last Thursday. It's a fun fold called Cascading Pleats.

Here's the Live That Teaches How to Make It:

This is the actual card I made in the video above, and I also show another card I made using the same fun fold. I know this fun fold looks a little intimidating, but it really isn't hard to make. The picture above shows what the card looks like closed.

The picture above shows the fun fold works. There are three layers to this card, and it's fun to decorate all of them. There are so many possibilities with this fun fold! I chose the super cute Charming Duck Pond Bundle from the Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog for my card.

Here's a close-up of the top panel of the card. I used the Lily Pond Lane Designer Series Paper, and the piece I used here and the one on the middle panel (below) come from the same DSP sheet in the pack. Make sure to watch the video to see how I cut it to get the two pieces.

I also used the Pretty in Pink Dots from the Adhesive-Backed Dappled Dots. The bundle, DSP, & Dappled Dots are part of the Lily Pond Lane Suite in the Annual Catalog. If you want all three products, you can enter the suite item # to get all three!

Here's a close-up of the middle panel of the card. The scene in the DSP looks so good, and all you need to add is the little circle sentiment. You could also use one of the ducks instead of a sentiment circle. Just make sure it doesn't show from the front when the card is closed.

Here's the bottom panel of the card. This time, I didn't want to use one of the "scene" designs in the DSP, so I opted for one with designs all over it. It looks so good behind the other panels when it's closed. I also added a place where you can leave a little note and sign you name. When I attached it, I made sure it couldn't be seen from the front when the card is close, too.

Instead of just listing the measurements in the post, I've made a free project sheet that lists all of the measurements for you. You can save it and/or print it off, get your supplies together, and then watch the video above to make the card along with me.
