I believe this is my favorite card of the class. I think this fun fold is a fun way to make a truck scene. I knew I wanted the last card to be a fun fold card, and when I was going over the fun folds I have done before, I thought this one would be perfect. I love how the line of trees turned out across the top. They're stamped onto the inside layer of the card, but you can still see them from the front, too!
As with the FIRST CARD in the class, I did NOT use the punch in the Trucking Along Bundle. Yes, the punch is cool to have, but the stamp set in the bundle is wonderful on its own, too. Since the stamp set is photopolymer (clear), it's easy to line up the images with each other. You can see that by watching my video above. I added chapters to the video, so you can jump directly to the part of the video you'd like to watch.
I did use the Trucking Along Builder Punch from the bundle on my CHRISTMAS CARD for the class. If you place a qualifying order (see above) to get my card kits, you DO NOT need the punch to make the Christmas card. I'll include 8 punched trucks in the card kit for you to stamp on! That's more than you'll need to make two of the Christmas card, so you'll have extra to use when you make more cards with the stamp set.
As with the other two cards in the class, I used the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper (DSP). The first card has a diagonal-striped design, the second has a plaid design, and this card has a gingham design. All three have that wonderful linen-look, too.
Of course, I had to use the Deckled Rectangles Dies again! These dies are so perfect with this truck! This time, I wanted a smaller mat around my deckled rectangle image layer, so I cut a regular mat for it with my Paper Trimmer.
For my Card Class @ Homes, I pick out one embellishment for all three cards, and I chose the Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots from the Annual Catalog for this class. These dots have two sizes in the pack. On my fun fold card, I put three large dots onto the bottom, left corner of the DSP layer.
