Wednesday, July 26, 2023!
I know this is one of my Christmas in July Card Class @ Homes, but I really wanted to show you how versatile this stamp set is! I promise, tomorrow's card will be a Christmas one. As you can see by today's card, you can make wonderful Summer cards, too. How about that "Farm Fresh" I stamped on the driver's door. Isn't it wonderful?
This stamp set is a part of a bundle. The bundle includes the stamp set and the Trucking Along Builder Punch. Sadly, the punch is not available right now. The first batch sold-out, but more will be coming in. Sadly, it's going to take a little while to come in...it will be back the middle part of October.
As you can see with today's card, you can still make great cards with just the stamp set. I do use the punch on tomorrow's Christmas card, though. Don't worry, I'll include 8 punched trucks in the card kit for you to stamp on! That's more than you'll need to make two of the Christmas card, so you'll have extra to use when you make more cards with the stamp set.
I used the Let's Go Fishing Designer Series Paper (DSP) on all of the cards in this card class. I know this DSP pack is meant to be a fishing set of papers, but it can be used for so much more than that. Like Stampin' Up!'s other DSP packs, this is a double-sided pack. Each sheet has one side with fishing-themed designs, and the other side has wonderful masculine/rustic designs on it. The DSP goes PERFECTLY with the Trucking Along Stamp Set.
I also used the Deckled Rectangles Dies on all three cards. I think these deckled rectangles are perfect for this stamp set, too. Don't worry if you don't have them, because I do the die-cutting for my card kits for you. FYI: This die set is on low inventory right now, so if you want it now, you'll want to order it ASAP. Don't worry if they do sell-out...a new shipment of the dies will come in later.
For my Card Class @ Homes, I pick out one embellishment for all three cards, and I chose the Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots from the Annual Catalog for this class. These dots have two sizes in the pack, and I added one small one to the center of each hub cap on the truck. The Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots are NOT included in the card kits, but you can get them added FREE...
If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code NMSTR67C, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!
For the inside of my card, I stamped two trees, and then brushed Boho Blue around them to highlight the whole corner of the inside layer.
I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.
Come Back Sunday for the Second Card of the Class - It's a Christmas Card!
