Wow! I almost forgot to post this! I made alternatives to last month's (July, 2020) Summer Nights Paper Pumpkin (PP) kit, and made them in my Facebook/YouTube Live last Friday. You can watch it below.
Here are the originals from the kit. They're postcard size invites. There are stamps in the exclusive stamp set that comes in the kit that you can stamp onto the back of the cards to make them into invites.
Here are my alternative cards. I used the same postcard pieces from the kit for each card, but mounted them onto regular card bases to turn them into full-size cards. The postcard layers fit perfectly! You can do the same thing with the original postcard invites above, if you want them to be regular cards.
The card bases, and the ribbon I used on the ferris wheel card, are the only things I added to the cards. Everything else is directly from the Summer Nights PP Kit...including the adhesive and ink pad.
I love these Japanese lanterns! The color combo is beautiful! The picture above compares the cards. The one on the left is the original card from the kit, and the one on the right is my alternative card. Everything on my alternative card is from the kit, except for the card base.
I almost missed the star die-cuts in the kit. They weren't used on the original invite cards. I love having extras for more projects, and you definitely get them in this kit!

Here's my comparison picture for the ferris wheel cards. Once again, the card on the left is the party invite card from the kit. The card on the right is my alternative card. The ribbon I added, that isn't in the kit, is the Calypso Coral ribbon in the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack. Except for the card base, everything else I used on my alternative card is from the kit.
I really like the star embellishments that come in the PP kit. They are so sparkly! Doesn't this card make you think of the state fair! Love it!

Here are the jar card comparisons. The one on the left is the postcard invite from the kit, and the one on the right is my alternative. Minus the card base, everything I used on my alternative card is from the kit.
I decided to put three of lightening bugs behind the vellum jar die-cut. It really makes them look like they're in the jar. This card brings back memories of my brothers and me catching lightening bugs into a jar in our Grandma's backyard. We'd watch them for awhile, and then let them go. 😍
