12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween 2020 - Week #1

It's time for my 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween 2020! I wasn't able to do this last year, but couldn't wait to get it started for this year! Every Tuesday, for the next 12 weeks, I'll be posting 12 different Halloween & Fall projects for you. They'll be either 3D type projects or fun fold cards.

I'll be making a video tutorial for each project, and you can find this week's video below.

My Week #1 project features the Magic is This Night Suite from the Stampin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalog. These products are wonderful for all of your Halloween projects!

I used the Hallows Night Magic Bundle for the stamping and die-cutting. The stamp set in the bundle is the same name as the bundle...Hallows Night Magic. I love the bats in this set! The label die stamp is wonderful, too! It sets off the "Happy Halloween" perfectly!

The actual treat bag is designed around the label dies from the die-set in the bundle...Halloween Magic Dies. If you look closely, you can see that the Blackberry Bliss label die-cuts are stamped with creepy spiders!

I colored the flowers and leaves in with Cajun Craze Stampin' Blends Combo and the Old Olive Stampin' Blends Combo.

The picture doesn't do those pearls justice! I can't believe all of the colors that are in these Iridescent Pearls! I LOVE them!

Last, but not least, that bow! Isn't is gorgeous! I made it with the Metallic Mesh Ribbon that also in this suite! I can't wait to use it on some non-Halloween projects, too!

Dimensions:
  • Blackberry Bliss:  5-1/2" x 5-1/4" (bag base), 4-3/4" x 5-3/4" (front & back), & 8-1/2' x 1" (handle)
  • Whisper White:  4" x 4-1/4" (label & bats)
  • Metallic Mesh Ribbon:  18" (bow)
  • Iridescent Pearls:  2

  1. Such an adorable treat bag. I love everything about it. I'm a SU! Demonstrator as well.I just got my S.Seal and S. Seal+ in the mail. Where do I go to learn how to use it? I've heard different videos, but have no idea what I should know about these two pro\ducts. Thank YOU, so much for your 12 weeks of Fall & Halloween! I love them, and always look forward to another [project. I was thinking maybe for boys, I'd die cut spiders and not use the bow? But, I don't have my suite yet!

  4. Gloria, I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment until now. I'm so glad you liked the bag. I think using spiders and no bow would be perfect for your boys. I do talk about the Stampin' Seal in a video. Maybe it will help. Here's the link: https://youtu.be/MLVpbmF_swU?t=405 You might need to copy and paste the link. Not sure if it'll show up as a hyperlink. The link will take you to the exact place I talk about the Stampin' Seal in the video.
