How Does the New Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine Work?

I got the brand new Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine a couple of days ago, and I LOVE it! I've only made one card with it, but I can tell it's a wonderful machine. I give you my review on the machine, and show you how to use it by making the card, in the video below.

As a demonstrator, I was able to get this wonderful machine now. As a customer, you'll need to wait until September 1, 2020. If you would like to get this Cut & Emboss Machine now, like me, you can by joining my Friendly Stamper's Team. You can find out more about the benefits of becoming a Stampin' Up! demo by going to my Join Now Page.

The first thing I like is how the machine looks. The white and gray really look sharp, and it goes with the color scheme in my office so much better. 😉

As I show in the video below, the opening in this Cut & Emboss Machine is wider than our old die-cutting machine. Watch the video to find out the other upgrades I found out using it to make my card.

Another thing I absolutely love is that you can fold both sides of the platform up. This is perfect for storing in a smaller space, and for transporting it to crops, to your work space, etc.

This side-view shows how compact it becomes when it's folded up.

These are all of the platforms that come with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine. As you can see, the base platform shows all three sandwiches you need to know for cutting and embossing. The die plate shows the sandwich needed for die-cutting.

The card has embossing done with a 3D embossing folder and a mini embossing folder. It also includes some die-cutting. So I was able to show all three sandwiches for the Cut & Emboss in the video.

I used the Life is Beautiful Stamp Set in the Stampin' Up! August - December, 2020 Mini Catalog. Great news...you can now order from this wonderful catalog!

I used all of the products in the Plaid Tidings Suite, except for the stamp set. The die-cuts were made with the Celebration Labels Dies in the suite. The patterned paper is from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (DSP), ane the ribbon is called 3/8" Embroidered Ribbon. Both are in the Plaid Tidings Suite as well.

The flower was made with the Small Bloom Punch, and then embossed with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. It's hard to see in this picture, but the tree layer is also embossed with this embossing folder.

The flower center was made using one of the gold sequins in the Sequins for Everything pack. What makes these sequins special is that they don't have holes in the center like sequins usually do.

The branches were made with dies in the Celebration Dies. They were die-cut out of a bronze sheet from the Brushed Metallic Cardstock from the mini catalog.

You can tell that the tree layer is embossed better in this picture. Also, don't miss the leaves that are embossed on the right side of the Cinnamon Cider layer. It's embossed with one of the folders in the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders.

Here's the inside of the card. I got some ink on the bottom of the layer, so I sponged around it to hide it. I'm glad I made the mistake, because I like it sponged better!

Dimensions:
  • Mango Melody:  8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base)
  • Cinnamon Cider:  4" x 5-1/4" (embossed base layer)
  • Basic Black:  4" x 2-1/4" (DSP mat)
