12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween - Week #3

Boy, did the week go by fast! It's already time for another 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween! This is week #3, and a Halloween project. It's a quick and easy Nugget Candy Bar Treat Pouch. Watch the video below to learn how to make it.

My treat pouch features the super cute Have a Hoot Bundle from the Stampin' Up! August - December 2020 Mini Catalog. The bundle includes the Have a Hoot Stamp Set and the Peek-A-Hoot Dies. Purchasing these two items as a bundle saves you 10%! I love that the stamps in the set cover both Halloween and Christmas. The owls are awfully cute, too!

The tags used to make the treat pouch were made with one of the tags in the tag trio die in the Peek-A-Hoot die-set. No other die-sets are needed for this treat pouch!

The patterned paper I used is one of my favorites from the Mini Catalog. It's called Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (DSP). There are so many wonderful plaid designs in this paper pack, and they can be used for so many different projects...Fall, Halloween, Christmas, and so much more!

I watercolored the owl and pumpkin using a Blender Pen and the ink pads listed in the supply list below. I really like the look I got with them. I intentionally left some white areas to get the watercolor look.

The greeting and cobweb are also a part of the Have A Hoot Bundle. The greeting was stamped with a scrap piece of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock, and quickly cut out with scissors.

Here's the side view of the treat pouch. The nugget candy bar fits perfectly! The pouch was closed on top by using the beautiful 1-1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon, which is also in the Mini Catalog. It is part of the Magic in This Night Suite.

Dimensions:
  • Smoky Slate Cardstock (CS):  1-3/4" x 2" (base of pouch) - With the 2" side along the top, score each end @ 1/2"
  • Plaid Tidings DSP:  1-3/4" x 4-3/4" (tags)
  • Rich Razzleberry CS:  Scrap
  • Whisper White CS:  Scrap
  • Silver Foil Sheets:  scrap
  • 1-1/2" Metallic Mesh Ribbon:  enough for the knot to close the pouch

  1. would you sell these at a craft fair and how much do you think they would sell for?

  2. Surprisingly, I haven't done a craft fair selling 3D projects. LoL One of these days. These might sell, so it would be worth a try. $1-$2 would be good. Probably closer to $1. Your cost would be around $.50, and that includes the nugget candy bar.
