Ornate Thanks Card

I'm finally able to start sharing the videos for the three cards I showed in my last livestream! I'm still struggling with technical problems, but figuring out how to fix them as I go along. I have to say, I'm learning a lot of stuff, and it's kinda fun...that is when I figure it out. LoL

Today's card features all but two of the products in the Stampin' Up! Ornate Garden Suite. I used the Ornate Style Bundle, Ornate Thanks Stamp Set, Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP), Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack, and Gilded Gems. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how these products coordinate together! They're gorgeous, too. The complete supply list for my card is at the bottom of the post.

I made my own "foil" designer paper by heat embossing stamped images onto the cardstock. You can learn how I did it in the video below.

The Gilded Gems add the perfect amount of bling, and they coordinate great with all of the other gold accents I put on the card.

Isn't that frame beautiful in the gold foil? You won't believe how easy it is to get all of those little pieces out of the die-cut frame. I show how easy it is in the video below.

Do you notice how the DSP piece coordinates perfectly with the heat embossed flowers on the bottom of the card? The ribbon strip adds a perfect transition between the DSP and cardstock, too.

Of course, I had to decorate the inside. I opted not to color in the flowers, because I liked how they looked stamped in Early Espresso. If you love to color, coloring the flowers in would look beautiful, too!

I love all of the sentiments from the Ornate Thank stamp set. I was able to use two of them on the outside of the card, and a third on the inside! Gotta love that!
