Ornate Garden Suite - Facebook Live Replay

To start off, I LOVE this suite! I can't believe all of the cards I've made with it already! If you haven't seen the products in this suite yet, you can see them in the video below. I also show three different cards I've made with the suite, and show how to make the card featured in this post at the end of the video.

I love the different looks you can get with the color combo in the Ornate Garden Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). This card features the lighter colors in the combo. Love the softness of these colors together.

I colored the flower with Stampin' Blends. I love the subtle shading I was able to achieve with the blends. There is one color in the DSP's color combo that we don't have right now, and I'm pretty sure that it is one of the new In Colors in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. It's called Bumblebee. I'm guessing it's one of the yellow colors in the DSP, but that's only a guess. I can't wait to find out! In the meantime, I think So Saffron works just fine.

Isn't that border beautiful? It's one of the dies in the Ornate Borders Dies. There are so many beautiful border dies in this set! I added a little rhinestone from the Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the center of each flower in the border.  I love a little bling, don't you?

The subtle shimmer to the ribbon is so beautiful! I love the glow the light gives it. This is the Terracotta Tile ribbon from the Ornate Garden Ribbon Combo Pack. I forgot to add the bow in the video. I tied a little bow with a second piece of the ribbon, and attached it to the ribbon strip on the card using a Mini Glue Dot.

I used another border die along the bottom of my greeting layer. I REALLY like how that turned out. We now have ways to fancy up a little greeting, and so much more! The beautiful frame around the floral image is one of the dies in the Ornate Layers Dies. The flower was die-cut out with one of the dies from the Stitched Rectangle Dies. I love how these two die-sets work together.

I decorated the inside of this card, too. The outside and inside of the card feature both stamp sets in the suite. The flower is from the Ornate Style Stamp Set, and the greetings are from the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set. The Ornate Style Stamp Set bundles with the Ornate Layers Dies, and the Ornate Thanks Stamp Set bundles with the Ornate Borders Dies. Purchasing them as a bundle saves you 10% off the price of purchasing the stamp set and dies separately.

Ornate Borders Dies:

The little leaves under the top border came out when die-cutting the border. They can definitely be used on your projects, too!
