This card features the Swirled Designs Bundle, and it is such a good one. The swirly focal images add so much fun and interest to the front of the card. I paired it with a sweet sentiment from the Banner Sayings Bundle and layered it over die cuts for extra dimension. The bundle really shines on a card like this because it creates that bold focal point that stands out against the patterned paper. Both of these great bundles are part of the Stampin' Up! For tonight's Live project, we’re making a Standing Z-Fold Card. This fold is always a favorite because it looks fancy, but it's not hard to make at all. The card stands up on its own, making it perfect for display on a desk or shelf. This one does not open like a traditional card. Instead, you’ll write your message on the back panel. That makes the front all about the design and dimension, and the back nice and smooth for your handwritten note.
The Designer Series Paper I used is the Painted Illusions DSP, and it is absolutely gorgeous. There are so many wonderful patterns in the DSP pack that I had to make the card above using a couple other designs. The soft rainbow stripes and delicate floral patterns give this card such a cheerful look. The bright colors on the side panels really draw your eye in, while the softer floral pattern in the center balances everything out.

To finish off the front, I added a few rhinestones from the Rhinestone Basic Jewels for just the right amount of sparkle. A little shine goes a long way here. The embellishments help highlight the swirl and sentiment without overpowering the design. They catch the light when the card is standing up, which makes it even more eye-catching in person.
Since this card doesn’t open, the back becomes important. I added a clean white panel framed with Darling Duckling mat and a soft stamped swirl in the corner. It keeps the back coordinated with the front while leaving plenty of room to write your message. It’s simple, polished, and ties the whole project together.
