It’s time to share the first project from my Pine Tree Trimmings Card Class @ Home! This festive card is cheerful and traditional, featuring a playful layout that opens to reveal a warm holiday greeting — “From our house to yours.”

I used the Pine Tree Trimmings Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! Online Exclusives to create that adorable Christmas tree with its glittery ornaments and garland. The tree’s details are brought to life with the coordinating dies, making it so easy to add layers, color, and sparkle. I decorated the tree with red glitter “ornaments” made with the Traditional Sparkling Sequins and a shiny gold garland, then tucked a few tiny presents at the base to complete the cozy scene.
The background features the beautiful Traditions of Christmas Designer Series Paper (DSP) — those bold poinsettias and winter florals make the card really pop! I paired it with a soft Pool Party panel that I embossed with the Jolly Holly Hybrid Embossing Folder to add just the right amount of texture behind the tree.
The card base for this card isn't your average card base. The middle of the card front is completely open to show the sentiment that is stamped on the inside layer of the card. The top of the card base, and the bottom strip are held together by the main image layers. This design is full of Christmas personality — bright, happy, and perfect for sending joy from your home to someone else’s.
A strip of the same DSP design was added to the inside of the card to finish it off.
