How to Make A Card Using Two Fun Folds!

I love fun fold cards, and I was super excited when I found a fun fold card that uses two fun folds! This card is a combination of the Book Binding Fun Fold and a Z-Fold Card, and it's super easy to make!

I chose to use the Thoughtful Wishes Bundle & Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (DSP) for this fun fold card. Both of these are part of the Thoughtful Journey Suite from the new Stampin' Up! 2024-2025 Annual Catalog.

When I decided to try this fun fold for myself, the Thoughtful Journey DSP was the first one I thought of. I thought this fold would give the DSP a panoramic-look, and it sure does! You can learn how I cut the paper to get that panoramic-look in the video above.

This picture shows off the Z-Fold part of the card. Actually, you can see the book binding part on the left, too. In case you're wondering, this card does lay pretty flat when closed completely, so it can be mailed.

The pearls on the card are from the Adhesive-Backed Pearl Trio pack in the suite. The pearls come in one size and three colors...Calypso Coral, Petunia Pop, and the pearls I used on this card, Misty Moonlight.

I think picture shows both folds the best. There's even a section of the inside where a message can be written to the person that receives this card.

The die-cuts on the card were made with the beautiful Thoughtful Wishes Bundle. The Petunia Pop & Wild Wheat die-cuts were made with a couple of the dies in the bundle, and the Mossy Meadow one was made with one of the stamps and its coordinating die. The sentiment is from the stamp set in the bundle, too.

Did you notice that the Mossy Meadow leafy die-cut looks a lot like the leafy plant on the bottom, right corner of the DSP on the card? I did it by using the watercolor emboss resist technique. If you don't know how to do this technique, you can learn how in my video above, too.

Here's the card completely open. If that Basic White piece isn't big enough for your message, you can add a 2" x 4" piece of Basic White on that Boho Blue section to the left of it.

If you like the look of this suite, you don't want to miss my May Monthly Online Card Club!
