It's time for another Short & Sweet Saturday (S&SS) card! This week's S&SS card features the Pop of Petal Bundle. The bundle includes the Pop of Petals Stamp Set and the Four-Petal Flower Punch. Purchasing them as a bundle saves you 10%!
This card also features one of my favorite Designer Series Papers (DSP) in the catalog, Garden Impressions. This 6" x 6" DSP is one of the packs included in the Buy 3, Get 1 FREE DSP Sale this month. You can see all of the cards I've made featuring DSP that is a part of this sale by CLICKING HERE.
Dimensions:
- Night of Navy: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" (card base) & 3-1/8" x 3-1/8" (DSP mat)
- Petal Pink: 4" x 5-1/4" (embossed layer)
- Soft Sea Foam: 4-1/2" x 3/4" (greeting banner)
- Whisper White: 5" x 2" (flower & leaves)
- Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper (DSP): 3" x 3"
- Gold Faceted Gems: 1 large
Instructions:
- Emboss the Petal Pink piece by running it through the Big Shot with the Climbing Vine Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Fold the largest Night of Navy piece in half (fold on the left) to form the card base. Attach the embossed layer to the center of the card front.
- Attach the DSP piece to the center of the smallest Night of Navy piece. Attach it to the top, center of the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.
- Stamp the "Happy Birthday" stamp from the Detailed With Love Stamp Set onto the left side of the Soft Sea Foam piece using the Night of Navy Classic Stampin' Pad. Punch the other end of the piece by inserting it all the way into the Banner Triple Punch, centering the piece within the smallest guide in the punch, and then punching. Attach the banner across the bottom of the DSP layer, lining the punched end of the piece with the right edge of the card.
- Stamp the brushstroke-like flower stamp from the Pop of Petals Stamp Set onto one end of the Whisper White piece two times using the Melon Mambo Classic Stampin' Pad. Stamp the lined flower stamp onto the same piece using the Shaded Spruce Classic Stampin' Pad. Punch all three flowers out with the Four-Petal Flower Punch. Cut the Shaded Spruce flower in half. Attach one of the Melon Mambo flowers on top of the other, alternating the petals as you do. Attach one of the Shaded Spruce halves onto the back of the flower, making sure the petals show from the front. These become the leaves of the flower. Attach the flower onto the right side of the greeting banner. Attach one large gem from the Gold Faceted Gems to the center of the flower.
Use SNAIL Adhesive when attaching, unless stated otherwise.
