The October 2026 Virtual Card Retreat is $165 and is available only while supplies last. The actual retreat takes place October 1–2, 2026, with each day beginning at 2 pm (MT) and including up to seven hours of crafting each day! The kit includes two stamp sets, one die set, Designer Series Paper, Two-Tone Cardstock with cutting guidelines printed on the back, printed precut images, embellishments, envelopes, a whole pack of Basic White Cardstock, and a sheet of Gold Foil. You’ll also receive a personalized link for joining the private Facebook group where the retreat will take place. During the two days, you’ll make 15 cards while watching live presentations from Stampin’ Up! staff, including CEO Sara Douglass. The retreat will also be recorded, so you can go back and watch the videos later and craft at your own pace.

You’ll receive card kits to make two each of four additional card designs that I designed using the retreat stamp sets, dies, and embellishments. That’s eight additional cards! I won’t use any of the paper products from your retreat kit because you’ll need those for the 15 retreat projects. Instead, I’m including 1/4 pack of Bloom Boutique Specialty Designer Series Paper with your bonus kits—that’s six 6" x 12" pieces, one of each of the six double-sided designs. You’ll even have some DSP left after making my cards. I’m also sticking to the ink pads, adhesives, tools, and other items on Stampin’ Up!’s Additional Supplies List for the retreat, so you won’t need a bunch of extra supplies to make my designs. You’ll get an exclusive video tutorial teaching you how to make the final three designs, plus a supplemental PDF with pictures of all four cards, paper sizes, and supply lists.
The first of those four designs is the card I’m making during tonight’s Live—my Offset Overlay Fun Fold Card. I love how the front of this card lets the different elements overlap! The pretty floral Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP covers the large offset panel, while the embossed peach-colored cardstock on each side adds lots of texture without competing with that tiny floral print. The combination makes such a sweet backdrop for the focal point.
The large circular focal point really makes this card special. I stamped the flowers inside the circle and layered it over a larger brown circle, creating a look that reminds me a little bit of an embroidery hoop. That made the die-cut scissors the perfect addition! I especially love the gold scissors at the top and the larger pair layered across the bottom of the circle. A simple “Hello” greeting finishes it off without covering up all those pretty details, and a few of the retreat embellishments add just the right little bit of shine.
Then you open the card and get to see how the Offset Overlay Fun Fold works! The large floral panel on the front is attached to an offset section of the card, and the circular piece extends beyond its edge. Inside, there’s a large Basic White panel with another stamped flower tucked into the lower corner, leaving plenty of room for your handwritten message. The embossed cardstock panels continue inside the card, too, so the texture you see on the front carries through to the inside. It’s one of those fun folds that looks impressive but is still very doable—which is my favorite kind!
