My Elegant Leaves Card Class @ Home (CC@H) features three fall cards made with the Elegant Leaves Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! September–December 2026 Catalog. I love how different the three cards look even though they use the same bundle, Designer Series Paper, and embellishments. Today I’m taking a closer look at the first card, which has lots of texture, layers, and those beautiful warm colors that make fall card making so much fun.

The Elegant Leaves Bundle includes the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set and coordinating dies, and I had fun adding extra color and detail to the three large leaves on this card. There are three different leaf shapes in the bundle, and I made one of each. For every leaf, I die-cut both the solid leaf shape and its coordinating detailed leaf. I added ink to each of the detailed leaf die-cuts to bring out all those pretty veins and markings, then glued each one on top of its matching solid leaf. Layering the two die-cuts together gives the leaves so much more dimension and makes those beautiful details really stand out. I arranged the finished leaves across the card front and added the “grateful for you” sentiment below them. The Very Vanilla background is embossed with the Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder, adding even more natural texture to this fall card.
The Autumn Opulence Specialty Designer Series Paper adds another layer of fall color to this card. I used a dark fall pattern with beautiful autumn-colored leaves & mushrooms, and I tore the bottom edge instead of making a straight cut. That little bit of roughness works so well with the leaves, Linen Thread, and embossed tree-ring background. The DSP peeking out from behind the die-cut leaves gives the card plenty of pattern without covering up all that wonderful texture.
I added Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots as the finishing embellishments. Their warm metallic shine fits right in with the fall colors and gives the card just a little sparkle. If you earn the card kits for this class, your kits include enough of the Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots to embellish the cards, so you won’t need to have your own package to complete them.
The inside of this card is simple, but it coordinates perfectly with the front. I added a Very Vanilla layer and left it completely open for writing a personal message. Along the bottom is a torn piece of the Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP. This is actually the piece I tore off the bottom of the DSP used on the front of the card, so I was able to use it instead of throwing it away. I love how the matching torn edges carry the DSP from the outside to the inside and give the whole card a coordinated, finished look.
