My Elegant Leaves Card Class @ Home (CC@H) includes three fall cards featuring the Elegant Leaves Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! September–December 2026 Catalog. Each design shows a different way to use these pretty leaf images and dies. Today we’re looking more closely at the second card, which combines stamped fall leaves, a pretty floral paper, and an embossed background for a warm card you can send when someone needs to know you’re thinking about them.

The Elegant Leaves Bundle includes the Elegant Leaves Stamp Set and coordinating dies, and this card gives the stamped leaf images a chance to shine. There are three different leaf images in the stamp set, and I used one of each to create the trio of leaves on the left side of the card. I stamped them in different fall colors, die-cut them with their coordinating dies, and arranged the three leaves together beside the sentiment. The “sending caring thoughts” greeting is stamped on a small Very Vanilla piece, creating a simple focal point that works beautifully with the colorful leaves.
For this card, I chose a lighter floral pattern from the Autumn Opulence Specialty DSP. The strip runs horizontally through the center of the card and provides a beautiful backdrop for the leaves. I love how the soft Very Vanilla background of the DSP lets all those rich fall flowers show while still allowing the stamped leaves to be the focus. Behind it is a Golden Glow cardstock layer embossed with the Rustic Check 3D Embossing Folder. That embossed pattern adds texture from top to bottom and makes the flatter DSP layer stand out even more.
A few Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots scattered around the leaf arrangement add just the right amount of shine. They’re small enough that they don’t compete with the leaves or patterned paper, but that little bit of gold looks especially pretty against the fall colors. The card kits for this CC@H include enough of the Gold Adhesive-Backed Dots to make the cards, so those finishing embellishments will be ready to add when you make yours.
The inside of the card continues the leaf design from the front while leaving plenty of open space for writing your own message. On the bottom right corner of the Very Vanilla layer, I stamped portions of the same three leaf images that I used on the front of the card. I also stamped each leaf in the same color as its matching leaf on the card front, which ties the inside and outside together beautifully. I like how the leaves extend off the edges of the cardstock instead of showing the entire images—it adds a little fall color and interest without taking away too much writing space.
