It's time for my 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween - Week 2 project. I know it's only been a couple of days since I posted Week #1, but I was running late last week. 😉 Once again, the project is a Halloween one.

This week's project is a Halloween Pencil Holder. It's a perfect size to hold four, full-sized pencils. I used Halloween pencils for this one, but you can easily change out the pencils and decorate the holder any way you want to for any occasion.
Since I wanted this one to be a Halloween one, I used the cute Playful Ghosts Stamp Set from the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives. The images in this set are so cute, and any of the three larger images would have worked on this pencil holder.

I didn't want the pencil holder to be made from plain Pumpkin Pie cardstock, so I stamped it with the Sketched Plaid background stamp from the 2024-2025 Annual Catalog. I stamped it with Pumpkin Pie ink, and it made a perfect design for the pencil holder.
The circles were made with one of my favorite die sets, Deckled Circles Dies. One of the reasons I love this die set so much is the number of circle dies in it! There are so many circle sizes to choose from, and the deckled edges make them better than ordinary circle dies!
I colored the images in with Stampin' Blends, and you can find the colors I used in the supply list below.
I finished it off by adding Gorgeous Grape & Daffodil Delight dots from the Glossy Dots Assortment and a piece of the Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon.
Dimensions (CS = Cardstock):
- Pumpkin Pie CS: 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" (pencil holder)
- With a 3-1/2" side along the top, score @ 1/2", 3/4", 2", & 2-1/4"
- With a 5-1/2" side along the top, score @ 5-1/4"
- Lemon Lime Twist CS: 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" (#6 circle die)
- Basic White CS: 3" x 3" (#5 circle die)
- Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon: 4"
- Glossy Dots Assortment:
- 1 large & 1 medium - Gorgeous Grape Dots
- 1 medium & 1 small - Daffodil Delight Dots
