12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween 2024 - Week #1

I can't believe it...It's time for my 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween again! Isn't 2024 going way too fast?! During my 12 Weeks of Fall & Halloween, I do six Fall & six Halloween projects, and I get all of the Halloween project done a few weeks before Halloween so you have time to make any of them beforehand, if you like.

My first Halloween project features the Potions & Spells Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Online Exclusives. This is such a CUTE Halloween bundle!

I made this project while I was at a crafting retreat last week, and the ladies that were there and saw it said it reminded them of Harry Potter. I didn't think about it while I was making it, but with the bird, witch's broom, & the books, it really does!

When I saw the witch's kettle in the set back in June, the first thing I thought of making was a Halloween kettle treat box! I knew it would have to be the project that started off my 12 Week's of Fall & Halloween this year, too!

You Can Learn How to Make it in the Video Above

This box is perfect for putting two snack size Reese's Cups inside, and other candies around the same size. I haven't tried it, but I bet the pumpkin-shaped Reese's would fit, too.

I colored the bird and the books in with Stampin' Blends, and you can get the list of colors I used in the supply list below. The broom was made with dies in the Potions & Spells Die Set.

I didn't think it was necessary to decorate the back of the treat box too much, but I definitely wanted to put the "potion drips" die-cut onto the back so it looks more like a kettle filled with a bubbly potion.
