I used the die-cut sled on the FIRST CARD, and I used the stamped sled on the SECOND CARD. This time, I didn't put a sled on my card...well, at least I didn't use one of the sled dies to make a sled. 😉

When I was making the first card, I got to looking at the silver sled base die-cut, and thought...Wow, this could be a window, too! I knew I had to try it, and this is what I came up with. I'm kinda proud of myself for coming up with another use for this die. I think it came out pretty good. You can learn how I made the window in the video above.

The wreath in the bundle was a perfect way to decorate this window, too. I topped it off with an Iridescent Striped Trim bow.

Like with the first card in this class, I used the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (DSP). Not only did I use it for the strip on the left side of the card, I also used it on my window. I stamped snowflakes on one of the DSP designs, and then I die-cut it with the sled base die. I used the cut-outs that you normally don't use, and I put them inside the Pebbled Path window frame I made with the same die.

I used the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder again to make an interior brick wall for my window. I love how it turned out.

The Faceted Gems Trio Pack is the embellishment pack I'm featuring this time. The gems are all the same size, and they come in clear, Smoky Slate, & Lost Lagoon. I used the Lost Lagoon gems this time. I was able to use all three colors in the class. The Faceted Gems Trio Pack is NOT included in the card kits, but you can get it added FREE...

If You Place a $50 Order (before shipping & tax), Using Host Code 6BFDBXCV, by July 17th, You'll Get a Full Pack of the Faceted Gems Trio Pack Added to Your Card Kits for FREE!

I stamped and colored the wreath for the inside of the card so it would look like the one on the outside of the card. I also added snowflakes and a sentiment from the bundle. I wanted to make very faint snowflakes, so I stamped off TWICE before stamping them onto the cardstock.

I have a list of supplies you'll need to make the cards in the class (ink pads, adhesive, etc), and you can see it by CLICKING HERE. You can substitute with products you have on hand, too. You can see what comes in the class's card kits in the video above.

I Hope You Enjoyed My Sophisticated Sled Card Class @ Home!
